A couple of days ago I had 1.98GB remaining and now I have 18.61GB remaining

Any of you guys noticed this too? Isn't it a lot of storage now?

idk, I don't think so, but we always had GBs remaining when we uploaded our screenshots

Where can I check this?

Upload a screenshot. It usually shows how much is remaining that way.

edit: just select more than 1 and it shows. My limit shows 18.05GB remaining now, so I guess it either went up or it's an error.

idk, I like wmp it works fine for me... I never use IE and it does not bother me having it on the task bar

Same here. IE has the only purpose of downloading Chrome and Firefox when you just installed Windows on you desktop. Other than that it's just there so you can wrong click it sometimes and curse a lot.
WMP is fine, it's easy to find whatever you want to listen. Actually I've never bothered looking for another player.

Yeah, WMP has organized my music library over the years with its "get album info" feature or whatever is called, idk... Sure it doesn't look pretty but it does the job... I've tried a couple of other players but I always come back to wmp...

I believe IE is not horrible enough anymore to force everyone to change it.

IE is. Edge fares somewhat better. It is still slow as fuck compared to even Firefox.

Maybe it has to do with steam level? I have 18.5 gigs allowed now.

On a side note, how much is your steam wallet in USD?

You should never make your Steam username public, better black that out (top right corner), even if it can be guessed in your case (which it also shouldn't be) :s

On the topic: Can't check cause I'm not home, but sure sounds nice!

How about for individual games? Is there a way to circumvent the storage limit? One particular game has about 10 MB of save file storage on Steam cloud but saving in all of the available save slots (20) takes more than that and no new saves can be created (basic new save description created but the file is still old). The only way people are getting around it is by deleting the cloud synced saves offline and uploading the local blank files and not saving that much again. I'm curious how much control the publisher/developer would have over this.

Publishers can somewhat freely set cloud limits (file number / file size). [1GB is default]

I don't know why anyone would want to set it lower, it's not like extra space is likely harming anyone. (And it doesn't even cost publisher).
