I'd like to know of which game you've been most disappointed of up until now?

For me, it's definitely Trials Fusion. Boring future setting, no multiplayer, way too easy tracks, no variety in the maps whatsoever.

Not sure if Watch Dogs or Battlefield Hardline...

ha, I've played the Battlefield Hardline beta for a couple of minutes and uninstalled it afterwards. It's just that it's SO generic, that I didn't feel like testing it any further.

I did the same thing. Played for 2 or 3 matches and uninstalled. Worst BF game I've ever played and it doesn't even feel like cops/robbers. They're running around with parachutes and cops can have an RPG...it just feels like a reskin.

Hardline isn't even out yet. How can it be the most disappointing when all you did see so far is a beta version.

That's how disappointing it is. We're disappointed EA even thought it was a good idea to create the game.

EA is no developer, they are a publisher. And you only saw a small fraction of a game that is unfinished. Don't get me wrong, if you don't like the game that's okay. But I'm saying it's stupid to say it's the most disappointing when it isn't even finished yet.

Everyone knows that, but it was EA that made it happen. EA was likely the one that told the devs to build it, EA gets to decide if it gets released to the public, etc. EA was a lot more involved than you think, there is a reason why all their games are rubbish or have terrible decisions made. In the end, it is typically the publishers fault more than the developers for any company.

Enemy Front or BF Hardline. I know EF wasn't to be very good but it would be awesome to have some decent WWII game now, It has some moments but not enough. I'm waiting for Sniper Elite III though :D BF Hardline is so crappy I've removed it after 4 minutes of gameplay and 2 minutes of loading.

You expected EF to be a good game? Sorry, but - lol. It's dev - CI Games (a.k.a City Interactive) is probably worst game dev i ever heard about. It started by copying famous games like CoD or Sudden Strike and making their shitty versions often so bugged that they were unplayable. Just take a look at their portfolio.

FM 14. Bought it, launched it, get lost in tables, finally Managed to start a match... Watched helplessly friendly match with some random village, 7th league less-than-amateurs team - all shots in record was goals or chances of the rednecks. Lost 0:5... That was last week. I'm still crying.

For me Thief and Murdered Soul Suspect. I found them so boring that I couldn't play them. Watch_Dogs was not nearly as good as most people were expecting, but I for one enjoyed it a lot and finished it so it wasn't a disappointment for me.

Magic 2014. As a new player to the video game series, I was beyond disappointed that they left out the one thing that makes the card game fun, the ability to make your own decks. I played it for a whole 30 minutes, realized how much bullshit it was, sent them an angry letter(because fuck them for this game) and moved on.

Yeah, all of the Magic games does this. Somehow the creators forgot the most important part of a collectible card game. The collectible part.

They forgot nothing, they just want you to go pay for MTG Online or physical cards. The game is meant to be more of an introductory thing, to get you hooked so to speak.

Wait, what is the point if you can't create your own deck?

Some of the pre-made decks are pretty solid. I had a few solid hours of fun with it for the $2.50 I spent on it.

Well, I haven't actually played any new games from this year that I'm aware of... but I'm gonna guess Watch Dogs would be number 1.
Most Anticipated, and then people played it only to realize "Wait a second... GAMES DON'T CHANGE THE WAY GAMES ARE PLAYED! They Lied 2 uz!"

Bloodrayne Betrayal, the game "broke" me and made me depressed and unwilling to play anything. I had to write a review of it for a magazine. Good thing (the magazine) they decided to drop that game and a few more small releases from the issue so I could happily uninstall it.

My biggest irk with "Betrayal" wasn't that it's super difficult (I love me some challenge) but that the game is soulless generic action platformer. If you liked previous installments because of their atmosphere (no matter how cheesy it was), prepare to be disappointed. Bloodrayne betrayal could've been dressed in any other franchise's colors, that's how bland it is.
