I have Vermintide 2 and KF2 base version, Zombie Army Trilogy looks good but it's on sale for 4-6€ almost all the time.

Well, well, my other favourite genre. The other one being retro shooters. Wish the selection was better, I already have/completed Killing Floor 2 and Vermintide 2 (both are great games, can recommend), so I'm only interested in Back 4 Blood. Kinda surprised about the lack of obligatory Payday 2 in this bundle, lol.

That's what it costs if each and every piece of DLC is bought individually.
Season Pass One is free, so all one needs to get in order to own EVERYTHING is:
Season Pass Two, Season Pass Three and Ragnarök Campaign & Character Pack for a total of ~85€
But that's still fairly expensive and the sheer amount of DLC without any kind of Complete Edition makes it really confusing and hard to get an overview of the content.
I'm also still waiting for a higher discount of the DLC to at least get the additional levels cheap. Don't care about all that cosmetic stuff.
In any case, your verdict "wtf is rebellion thinking" still stands ... ;-)

I'm a fan of the series, both the Zombie Army series and the Killing Floor games, and I already own those games, but I also played the hell out of the first Vermintide game on PS4 and I still need to get Back 4 Blood. I wanna gift ZA4 and the ZA Trilogy so this bundle is a definite buy for me. I was disappointed to see ZA4 become an Epic Games Store exclusive when it first came out, but I paid full price or close to it when it came out on Steam one year later.
The only downside I ever saw to the game was a low player count, and I was always surprised the game never really seemed to catch on. I'm hoping there will be a spike in active players due to the bundle but as of this moment, the peak count for today stands at a mere 153 players. Aliens: Fireteam Elite, which is a very similar style of game, stands at ten times that for today at 1641 current and a peak of 1806, but then it had the benefit of the boost from being part of Choice.
Actually, one other thing I really can't stand, which has become the norm for Rebellion's games, is having to pay for additional weapons via DLC releases. ZA4 has multiple seasons made up of a few new missions and weapons each which can be bought a la carte instead if you only want one particular gun or level instead of buying the entire season, but no matter which way you go the total price of owning the complete game is way too expensive. I don't have a problem with games that want to charge for additional skins for characters or weapons, but these aren't skins, they are guns that alter the difficulty of an already fairly difficult game in certain sections. I hate to say it but the only way companies are ever gonna stop breaking games up into separate DLC packs is when it affects their bottom line, so while I am a fan of the games and part of me wishes more people were playing, I'm glad that more people see beyond the occasional sale price and see the game for what it really is, which is essentially a bill asking for more of your money. I do recommend it, all of the games, but with ZA4 just please know what you're in for.

Zombie Army 4 was my first experience with the franchise and in my opinion it's a really fun, silly game but I suppose when people see the sheer amount of DLC most understandably just nope out.
From a player perspective: Do you think the low player number negatively affects a game like Zombie Army? From my limited experience I'd say you just need a 3 or 4 player party and you're set. I played the base campaign and Season Pass 1 & 2 with 2 buddies and wanted to play a bit more with randoms to mop up some missing collectibles or get into higher difficulties but never really found the time. Maybe it's more sucessful on console otherwise it would be weird they keep making all those story DLC if nobody buys them 🤔
To me personally the absurd amount of DLC weapons felt more annoying to keep track of - rather then I ever had the feeling I was missing out on something fun. You already have 3 or 4 weapons of each type with just moderately different gunplay and none of the DLC weapons sound like real game changers. The crossbow pistol seamed kind of cool but other than that I was never tempted to get anything extra.

Oh totally, a group of 3/having 2 friends to play with would be more than enough, but it would be nice if there were enough peiole playing to where you could just hop on and find other people who need to play whatever given mission you happen to need to run through. Some levels seem to be too hard for just one player on their own to where you almost NEED to have some co-op assistance.
I've already bought a couple of weapons individually and it was nice how they made Season One free after awhile but I still feel like I might pick up Season Three during the next major sale (Summer) just for the weapons that come with it. But yeah you titallt understand what I mean about looking at that just RIDICULOUS list of DLC's and what a huge turn-off it is, and it's amazing to me that any developer could be so tone deaf as to not realize how repulsed most people are by that. Maybe they just overestimated the pull that the series has and although it does have its fans, even the biggest name video games would get roasted in the forums for having this amount of added costs to own the full game.

Pretty big fan of Sniper Elite and the Nazi Zombie games but man was ZA4 disappointing in both gameplay and the fact that there was a ton of DLC ready to go at launch that felt like it was stripped from the game just to sell to the consumer.

If you enjoyed it you'll probably enjoy the trilogy then, I found it a bit more of the same and I wanted a little more innovation. It felt like I was playing a DLC that could have been apart of the trilogy rather than a fully fleshed out game but I think I'm just jaded. It felt clunky and for whatever reason I just wasn't having fun.

I'm playing solo in Zombie Army Trilogy right now and it's pretty good. Fun gunplay, but it's a real slog at times. The enemies just keep coming and coming, to the point that it starts to feel ridiculous. I'm playing on Solo mode, with the enemy amount set to the lowest amount possible too.
Even though it's doable and fun, it's very clear that the game was designed with more than one player in mind. I imagine Zombie Army 4 is close to the same thing, along with the other games.

Hm, why does Vermintide 2 not give any CV? I know that the game was free at one point. But you had to install it on Steam for this through the Steam client. So it is not like there are any keys around from a free period. Or has there been another promo I am not aware of?

Hey you! We still play Evolve and we have a nice community! Visit Evolve Reunited 2.0 Discord Server, you can play its different variants and find people to play with.
Well, speaking on normal standards, yeah, the game is officially dead, even if 2K has mysteriously opened the servers again (we are taking profit of it, we had to play P2P before). Now its pretty easy, you find an ongoing game you click on the link it takes you to the lobby and start playing.
I don't know why I fell in love with this game, the marketing, pricing and so on were horrible, but I also felt that it was intense and special when the combatants played correctly. Legacy Evolve (the first version) is more hardcore, if you just want to try some games, I recommend Evolve Stage 2 version (it's easier for hunters, faster games and more characters).
You can play any version of Evolve if you have ever owned Normal paid Evolve or the F2P Evolve Stage 2 (on Steam), if not, they may hand you a code in the that discord server I mentioned, I don't know.

Damn I feel bad for the devs of The Anacrusis. It isn't even out of early access and it's already bundled. They must have ran out of money. I don't think we should expect a super polished game. Releasing it last year in early access was a mistake. Everyone saw how basic it was and probably just wrote it off as another subpar L4D style game.

Bought for the Zombie Army games and The Anacrusis. Have the rest so gave it to friends that didn't have so I have someone to play with lol. Not a bad bundle imo yea some rebundled stuff but perfect for people in the same/similar boat as me.

However the amount of DLCs and Season Passes you have to pay to catch up for some of these games is crazy.
I already have Zombie Army Trilogy, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Killing Floor 2, so it's a pass for me.

In the Encore version, the sub was changed to {sub/980122} (source) and the gift link notification changed to exclude RU/CIS, CN, TR.
