Request a refund if you did not receive the bundle!

After questioning Redactum on their Facebook page multiple times if/when the bundles would be distributed, I received the following message a while back.

" I have been told that any user who did not receive keys due to a glitch should request a refund via Paypal. Thank you."

I since opened a dispute, and it was resolved in my favour and received a refund. I recommend you do the same if you didn't receive your bundle!

It appears this bundle has been running since the beginning of the month, so I figured I'd toss it up here for those unaware of it.

This is this website's first bundle. It appears authentic, but please share your experience if you make purchase so we can be certain of it!

Upon purchase, there's a statement that keys should delivered within 12 hours, and that redactednetwork@outlook.com is their email.

There's no end date as far as I can see, I suppose the best guess would be the end of October?

Format for the chart and thread has been entirely stolen borrowed from one of MilleW's threads. Hopefully everything looks proper!

By authentic did you mean an authentic piece of crap with zero information on it? I like how clicking on the games does absolutely nothing..... and especially how mousing over them shows a link to web.archive.org. W-T-F is this

Looks like scam, smells like scam, tastes like scam:

  1. The domain "redactednetwork.net" was registered on September 13th, this year.
  2. They have a weird shady website running at their root (http://www.redactednetwork.net/), using wordpress, with 4 posts (reviews?): October 2008, August 2013, March 2016, October 2016.
  3. The bundle page running at /bundles/october/ doesn't run on wordpress, and seems like a static page.
  4. There're hidden HTML elements on the bundle page, if you look at its source, like 806 Bundles Purchased (probably isn't counting), newsletter subscription fields, and even some text from waybackmachine, appended to its end, saying "FILE ARCHIVED ON 7:12:31 May 2, 2016 AND RETRIEVED FROM THE INTERNET ARCHIVE ON 14:56:02 Sep 28, 2016". So maybe they got this page from some other site? I don't know.
  5. Also from seeing the source, the "<html lang="pt_BR">" tag, the <meta name="language" content="pt-br">, and the <div id="sombra"> </div> suggests it is/was written by a brazilian, at least at some point.
  6. Looks like they're in charge of a steam group (redactednet), as their recent posts links to their bundles, which runs some fishy giveaways for AAA games that doesn't seem to work at all. The group was founded on September 4th, it says it's from Taiwan. Also says it's related to ocularinteractive, their "parent company"?
  7. The ocularinteractive community have the same admins as them. Looks like a wanna-be publisher for indie games? Probably a fishy one as well.
  8. There's a Steam game called Redactem (also in the bundle), which was both published and developed by ocularinteractive? Weird.

That's as far as I can go. Feels like an ARG.
