Was EA ever good?

EA has never been a good company but they have produced amazing games. It's a shame that the new C&C game will be F2P. I hate when they do that. Didn't they learn anything from Tiberium Alliances?

They've always been shady pieces of shit. Back in the early 90's Bethesda had to sue them for stealing code to create John Madden, lol. EA and Microsoft are both greedy and shady companies that I try not to support.

Although I did like Road Rash and Skitchin'.... the other EA games I like were not made by EA only published (Mass Effect, McGee's Alice, Dead Space, Mirror's Edge). That's about it... they suck ass.

They make and publish great games. Dead Space Series, Dragon Age Series, Mass Effect Series, Mirrors Edge ... the list goes on and on. Yes, they have gone a bit overboard on DLC. That doesn't make them fucking evil or some shit.

EA games are like any others, some are good some are bad. Origin the children of jealousy is the problem...i have steam and i don't want any other software with another library,friends lists, profiles. I don't want any sort of new accounts for any new game.

Harry Potter(1,2,3) was not so bad

So Battlefield 2 was good with 1 awesome DLC and 2 smaller nothing special DLC. And EA cared about the game. And as final patch they have gived us free 2 DLCs.

I remember when they used to make unlicensed games for my Sega Genesis. Also, I think they were founded on the idea that video games were an acceptable art form.

Why does everybody forget the awesome Lord of the Rings themed games developed by EA?? "The Third Age" was one of the best games I had on my ps2 in my opinion (I wish I still had my ps2 for that sole game) and I also loved the two battle for middle earth games.

A bunch of stuff people are listing were made by someone else, EA just sold them.

I am sorta against any company that destroys series and does DLC to death.

That said people are a bit to much with the EA hate, I mean Origin isn't half bad and I have gotten a semi decent collection of games due to sales on GMG and the Humble Bundle, does that make me a hypocrite? Sure but so are all humans to an extent...
