Would it be too much to ask for the Join Giveaway button be accessible from the search results page for faster giveaway joining?

Yes, that could mess with the integrity of the site.
No, I'd like to see this feature too.

There is at least 2 scripts out there that have that option, use those. ESGST, ESG.

I read the most recent announcement saying auto-join scripts were not going to be allowed but I assume because this one requires you to still click on the button, just making it easier to click on it, means having that script is fine. So thanks for the suggestion!

I haven't heard anyone complain about getting suspended because of those nor I got suspended myself so they seem to be just fine to use :)

i don't see quality of life features here, just a way to ignore descriptions?

I'm new here so I have to ask: because the descriptions are optional, is it sometimes important or necessary to be able to see them?

Many entitled people will make up custom 'conditions' for entering their giveaways and you might end up on the wrong end of their vigilante tool (the blacklist). Otherwise, you have the right to enter whatever you want, but you might accidentally make more enemies than you intended. (They are still required to deliver the game if you win, but they might be hostile towards you in the future or even cheat the system and pretend they can't deliver.)
EGSGT offers a compromise as it can pop-up descriptions if they exist, thus allowing you to read everything but still having the ease of a button.

This sounds useful but honestly it should be something built into the actual site instead of using external scripts.

many entitled people think this site is a free-games-dispenser and ignore descriptions where the giveaway creator shares some thoughts or asks people to check a link, play his win, etc.
it's considered pretty rude not to read ga descriptions. it's not against the rules, though.

I assume the solution to avoid the freeloaders would be to set the level requirements to enter but I get how it could be rude to just ignore something they want to say while giving away something for free potentially. I'll make sure to read descriptions then before entering giveaways even when I have an extension now.

Really, it'd be convenient if clicking on or mousing over the Enter Giveaway button, if it existed on the search results with/without an extension, made the description pop up so that way those who really didn't care would at least see something before clicking indiscriminately for free games.

Sure, why would anyone want to read descriptions written by that pathetic category of SG users who actually give games away? Let's make ignoring them easier instead!
