Sadly, institution exist, because sometimes, the work is too much for an individual. Billionaire corporations can survive even while losing money for longer periods of time, it is why they tend to starve off the market independent and small companies, then, turn their prices up and live on comfortable monopoly.

Of course, law should protect us from these corporations, but, when legislators are elected by popularity, individuals then seek corporations to back their expensive campaigns and in return, make laws to protect these corporation and go against laws that might pose a threat to them.

Give or take a couple of hundred years, and here we are now!

Corporations first started because companies became too big to be managed like they used to, when that happens, the company is usually bought by people with large amounts of capital and they only want to profit from an emerging growing business. I do not think they're needed per se, but, they dominate the market because law protects them and people go for the best cost/effective option in the market, so, the entire rules are made for them to grow and multiply.

They slowly but surely have taken worker rights, just wages and decent working hours, all in pursuit of profit for their shareholders, as well as the excessive amount of population we currently have, that let's them just hire new employees whenever one of them notices they're being treated like slaves.

What do you mean this is not what you're talking about, you are the one that mentioned them.

OP is looking for someone in a 3rd world country that gets really cheap prices on games, compared to say Australia.

So the classic method in Steam group chat rooms, was to trade tf2 keys, for games, with the price per key fluctuating with the market. Which could be as low as $1, or high as $5 per key. Also depending on who you were trading with.

Currently most people use somewhat reputable resellers, but due to their known shady dealings, people will still look for better connections that arent looking to actively screw them over.

Wow. I didn't know SG had a thread decoder ring.
Thanks for the explanation (and for elucidating the mystery of the tf2 key black market)

What visual?

Am i talking to a bot, or are somehow talking to eachother while totally misunderstanding at the same time?
I swear the more you respond to comments, the more confused i get.

So for that, thanks for the random mind FK! XD

edit: I assume the "visual" is the image of two men kissing, which was done as a tongue in cheek joke, and i cant read any suggestion of negativity in it. I see it as barely funny in context, but not rude or offensive, unless 2 men kissing annoys you, or simply seeing PDAs. So i'm just confused why focus on that, and what this whole post is about, as i thought you're just looking to save some money on a game.
Something i've done many times, by sending a few keys to someone in russia, who then sends me a game that would have cost me 5-10 times as much.

Image just looks like a loving kiss, not even sexual really.

I guess you could assume it was done with a negative twist, but i feel its more in the line of locker room joviality, such as smacking someone on the ass, or flicking their dk with your towel. Doesnt mean you want to have sex with them, or hurt them, you're just joking around.

There is a tendency for those who have been abused, or that are depressed, to project, and read negativity into most situations. So i understand that as defense mechanism, and try to look at everything from the perspective of love, and hope others are looking to have fun and play, more than twist a knife to cause pain for that joy.

Maybe i'm naive, or a romantic, but i'm happy to stay faithful and hopeful, that people are more good than bad, and more childishly playful, than demonically so.

Wait, wait, I just asked if I've understand correctly. Because if it's the scenario I've described, people already do that. Not as much as they should, but they do. Or most of them do it.

Also, I don't get any fanatical ad money, sorry for disapointing you.

If it's what he is saying, unironically, I wouldn't say it's a bad thing. Besides saying thank you, if somebody were to ask me why I tried to enter a giveaway that I won, I would answer gladly.

I am still not sure if this is what he is talking about, though.

I am pretty sure they're calling for cutting out the middle-man when doing giveaways. Which in their mind would be SteamGifts itself. Because apparently SteamGifts are the bad guys, because they get ad money from Fanatical and others. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Okay, let' see:

I want steamgifts to get value

What value? Market value? Or is something being lost in translation? I'm not a native english speaker, keep that in mind.

i don't know or care if you don't personally get some or not

Ouch, that hurt. I would love to be paid to help strangers in internet, tho.

as a user some features are not user-friendly and they are linked to money. that annoys me as a user.

Now I think I got it. You want the option to remove the Fanatical ads? If is that so, count me in! If not, I'm lost.

I am here calling gifters to firstly communicate their winners.

Yep, good one. The thing is: Mostly this kind of communicating is already happening all over the site. If you have a specific problem, you should open a ticket.

I believe human communication between two people would transfer money difference from billionare corporations to disadvantaged people.

That would be very nice, but I don't get how this site have anything with this. Care to explain?

Hi. If you (a mod) are already here, why is this still not banned? We have a clear violation here since the OP is clearly looking to trade keys between region here I'd assume they want to sell since their steam account is set to Turkey which, if I'm not mistaken, has lower than average game prices

lol, how is this "racism"? All I said is: 1. your steam profile shows Turkey - undeniable fact. no opinion or any comment regarding any nationaly, race, or other group of people; 2. Steam game prices, after conversion to a common currency, are on average more expensive in other regions, than they are in Turkey - again, a fact, albeit not the one I'm 100% sure about. I know that used to be the case in the past, however in lieu of recent changes to Steam's regional pricing guide it might have changed. I don't know, I don't really follow Steam's global pricing since I don't try to cheat the system by buying games in cheap regions and/or selling them in expensive ones. Of course I'm not saying anyone is... Either way - just like above no opinion or any comment regarding any nationaly, race, or other group of people.

I probably shouldn't but I'm seriously trying to make sense of what you're trying to say...

So you are mad that people who don't live in Turkey are taking advantage of turkish prices because in the longrun it will make publishers raise their prices in Turkey?

Is that it?

This is extremely tricky to make sense of... It seems that you're saying we shouldn't buy keys from official sources if it could be cheaper to buy from third-party individuals selling grey market keys, and we can know they're trustworthy because we can chat with them.

Nah. Don't trust random people selling keys. Even if they are sparkling conversationalists.

Selling, trading or gifting. It doesn't matter if your motivation is based on money. Not judging you for that, just speaking it out.
Yes, you can say that people from diffeent regions could work together to get fairer game prices for everyone.
But you also mentioned below that publishers are analyzing the market and thus it won't remain unnoticed. People got banned, got account set back to their original region and prices for cheap regions were increased.
