I played for an hour or so, my only complaint was the dialogue seemed a bit... weird... :) Like the developers didn't know any real teenagers and searched the internet for examples of "how teenagers speak." :)

The dialog is not very good or maybe even good but the rewind mechanic and story is very interesting. After a while you start not to care too much about the dialog. It also does a good job at making it feel like your choices have consequences. The 3rd chapter had a very good cliffhanger, but right now I'm waiting for the next and final chapter before advancing past the 3 chapter.

Interesting view... I've never felt that was the case. I just believe Max herself speaks like that (the main character), peculiarly. If you got to hear how Chloe speaks (the blue haired girl), I bet you'll change your mind and realize it's Max's style.
Plus, all teenagers speak differently. Victoria (one of the antagonists) speaks just as bitchly as some people I had to deal with myself, and Warren (Max's male best friend) is just as much of a Nerd Turd as any other nerds I've met. (:

Getting used to the sometime awkward dialogues can be difficult first since some of them are quite cringeworthy (mostly the sentences that come out from Chloe's mouth), but the game quickly evolves from high school drama into a mystery- thriller. And once the story finally starts going you'll be on a nice emotional rollercoaster.

Yeah finished episode 4 today. So much more feels than TWD. But I was referring to the games since thats all i've played/watched. Never read the comics or watched the TV show. Specifically I meant the biggest feels come from the ending of season 1 of TWD game.
(Spoilers for episode 4 of Life is strange)But that ending to episode 4! So sad and such a suprise! Was never expecting that! Even worse is the choice you have to make near the start of the episode. That was such a hard decision. I mean having to decide whether someone lives or dies and having to kill them yourself if you say yes. How are you even meant to make that decision. I spent forever trying to figure out that decision. I decided to let her live in the end but i'm still not sure if that was the right decision.

Its alright. Nothing special. Indie and it shows it. Still, its a good game. Just that gameplay elements aren't great. The setting is the main selling point.

I kind of want to say Killing Floor 2 or Transistor but I don't know if you'd enjoy them looking at your most played games/how much time you spent on other games, but they are still recommendations.
