Hi, my friend has a problem to join here to steamgifts...
He checked on steamdb his account status and he sees an higher amount of money than $100 as asked from steamgifts and he also joins others sites similar to steamgifts without problems.
Is it a general problem? Doesn't steamgifts use steamdb to calculate the money in the account?

SteamGifts uses its own calculator which ignores bundle titles, so people can't make alternate accounts with them.

Since when? Half a year ago (when I joined) it counted them (that's how I was able to get here, bought the Red Orchestra bundle).

A while, but some titles have been added to the calculator late, happened with my entry to the site as well.

Yes, nothing they can do except buy more games.
I contacted support about this too for my friend, "The 100$ requirement doesn't take into consideration bundle or exploited games."

But does the $100 requirement take into consideration bundle or exploited games?

No. But what about games that were included in some type of grouping and sold at a discount? Or games that were available for free (through giveaway or deceit)?

The calculation rules are pretty straightforward. While they may not be perfect, at least this prevents easy exploitation, and the straightforward creation of viable alt accounts using bundle cast-offs, which essentially involve no additional financial outlay...

I know. I was just being goofy. Hotflopz's post originally had the quote listed twice, hence our shenanigans.
