Just checked a local trustworthiness site for it. It has a pile of 5 star ratings over the last week.

All from people with a single review and based in a single country, that doesn't seem to be mine. I don't like that coincidence.

Oh, that's interesting. Makes them seem a bit more fishy.

"Corinne" says in the other post she bought several games from them and there was no problem.

why are key shops shady according to you ?

Why are they not shady?

They're as shady as every other grey market site. If I asked the owner where he got the keys, I'm willing to bet my whole Steam account that he says "My cousin says they fell off a truck."

For actual reasons, the risk far outweighs the reward in my opinion. There are a dozen reasons (such as using stolen credit card information, stealing retail copies and using their keys) why you could suddenly lose your game with no reimbursement, and having that hang over my head is not worth the cheap prices. It's essentially the same as trading with someone on Steamtrades for paypal, but they don't have any rep or a steamrep page you can check.

and what if it's a site that has good feeback ?

As someone above said, their feedback looks quite shady. But like I said, it's pretty much trading for paypal on Steamtrades, but with a webpage instead of a Steam Profile. If you're fine with that and all the risks it entails, go for it.

Like some of the posters above us have said, they very well might be working Steam keys. That does not mean that they were legitimately obtained, of that Steam absolutely will not ever possibly ban your account if you use that site.

Like it was already said, you can never be sure where and how they got those keys. They could be purchased with stolen CCs, flat out stolen etc etc. And since most of them are in Hong Kong (who would have thought that...) you wont get a single €/$ back.

So no, I woldnt even buy a game for 1€ from them.

Seems shady even for a key shop. Why are they selling games that have no info released about them. IE: Dark Souls 2

could be just lame web design, no ?

Listing unreleased games is not webdesign.

And Rambo!!! and new batman and saints IV so we add to the possibility of not working/being fake the impossibility to check it during months or even near a year in some case.
The farer the more expensive. Weird isn't it?

in the faq it says payment will be taken when the keys are shipped with preorders.
so its more like a placeholder with the preorders (just for having more games to offer) and the high price from games which release is far away is just because they dont know the real price yet.
but yes i would not recommend them (amazon, GMG, Gamersgate etc are far better)

I bought a game from a similar site (looked shady and sold keys for a cheap price). The only reason I did this was the behavior of the German government though, as they like to treat me like an 8 year old kid (some games are either cut beyond recognition or not available at all in Germany). I triple checked that the site is legit before I did this (google for all available customer reviews, it's pretty easy to see if they're fake or not if there are enough of them). Personally I would never buy from a site like that just for a cheap price though. In my case they seemingly got their keys from Russia, where games are cheaper. Some keys aren't region restricted and the game I personally bought was gifted to me by a Russian Steam user after I bought it. Guess that's what most of these sites do, doubt any of the larger sites that have been around for years sell keys that 'fell off a truck'.

If you buy Metro Last Light at the Russian Steamstore you pay only руб 699.00 equal to £14.78 and as far as I know Metro Last Light isn't region locked. That's where the cheap prices come from.

Yeah their legit.
The company is SimplyGames but have renamed their CD key side to SimplyCDKeys.
I have bought numerous games from them and received the Keys pretty promptly.
When they won their MCV award they dropped the price Of Gears of War: Judgement to half that of other retailers, I received my physical copy via free next day delivery.
So yeah totally trustworthy even with their insanely cheap prices on some products.

Plenty of SG users have been buying games from them over the last few days... Sniper Ghost Warrior 2 LE was £4.99 and many users purchased without issues.
Metro: Last Light is also £17.99 atm.

Have a look for yourself Here
