Simulation games aren't a homogeneous group. With flight sims, truck sims, racing sims, racing management sims, sports sims, sports management sims, business sims, city builders, etc. all falling under the same ambiguous "simulator" category, you need to be more specific on what you're looking for.

What do you want to simulate? I mean, flight simulator, truck simulator, racing simulator, managing transport/a city (tycoon stuff)? People trying to make a living (The Sims)...

Makes for a lot different types of games. So if you could say what kind of simulator you are looking for, maybe people can advise you in a better way. :)
