didn't notice if they were considered Rentals or the full copies.. By the price it would cost to buy them I'd assume bought, but you know what happens when you assume things...

They are the full movies. Once you purchase them they will be in your Steam library forever.

Sorry, we're pretty new to this community. Is Rachel the only one allowed to post these deals?

Nah, you're fine. She almost always gets to the bundles and provides nicely formatted lists before anyone else does.

I was trying to figure out how she formatted the lists and I wasn't sure. I'll try and get a nicer list up.

Not sure if it's outdated now, since it's a 4 year old thread.

The site uses markdown, so it is easy (after all, markdown was designed to be super easy ^_^). If you ever used that before, all rules apply here as well.

Rachel also includes store links and bundle price (very important information), along with an opinion poll. You can see the disinterest in some of the ones with nothing but common bundle repeats and previously free games, where up to 95% of users will state there isn't a chance in Hell of them buying it. :P

Here is an example of one of her topics

Thanks for the tips. I've updated the post with that information. It doesn't look like I can add in a poll after the fact though.

Don't apologize. It's a new site and these are all movies, which isn't even your focus.

Although you could help this dude put up a decent chart, because this one sucks. It's not a RaChart.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Hopefully when a new bundle comes up for steam stuff I can post first and make an exclusive pretty RaChart ^^ but I suppose you are right.
Although these steam movies come with steam keys.... On the flip side I don't think many people are interested in steam movies ><

I almost PM'd you before posting, but I wasn't sure if that would be against the rules of the site. You did a great job on the OP of our first bundle.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

No, you can tell me and it isn't against the rules!

.If you take a look at my Master List of Ongoing Bundles people leave messages about new bundles all the time! I also get messages via Steam from some groups like Flying Bundle, or in the case of DIG and LazyGuysBundle, i get personally emailed. You can send me a friend Request if you would like to personally notify me of your upcoming bundles and I am more than happy to make a post and chart for you! :)

Any hints on the mystery unlocks since I own the majority of movies that are interesting to me? And the price will stay the same after the unlocks?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Yes, the price will stay the same after the unlocks.

The only hint I can offer is that they are Devolver Digital Films :)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Wow I didn't even think about that when I saw the title of the bundle :D
I will just wait for the unlocks then as I'm owning the majority of movies that are interesting to me right now

One is unlocking tomorrow, so you won't have to wait too long :)

I saw Devolver an almost freaked out. I love all their games, but the movies don't look that appealing to me. Might gonna watch some trailers later, but I'm almost positive I trust Devolver more with games than movies.
Do a Devolver Digital GAMES bundle please tho! <3

For me it's the "Let’s Ruin it With Babies" paid propaganda thing that ruins it for me,
I wouldn't mind if the media were open border and pro-family,
a closed border anti-family stance while wrong would at least be consistent,
but the whole anti-family pro-immigration thing the media is pushing just feels like a soft genocide through propaganda.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Eh. I'm not totally opposed to Steam movies like some people, but Devolver films look terrible. They seem to just buy up the cheapest minor film festival filler garbage they can find. Definitely passing on this one.

What is the difference if they add more stuff? You dont have to buy the progragms and movies.

They probably should add a section for that though.

I don't know, but neither does Volv lol ... btw. do the movies add +1 to the game counter?
Much like Soundtracks > awful awwwwwful "system".

I dont realy know. For Volvo it generates more sales :D
But yeah. They should make those systems better :)

I don't know about others, but Circle The Wagen (better) and Coffee, Kill Boss are not even that bad. I'll check the Store pages and maybe even buy it.

It's been so long that I don't remember how long it took for them to drop, though.

movies don't add +count on game count right?

Correct. They go in their own category, which is not at the moment displayed on your profile (but it is counted in a separate section of your library, if that floats your boat).

Though I'd really love if you can get Steam + gog OR gog only as an option (even for the same amount of money).

Thanks we will look into this for next time

Permalink

Steam + drm-free would work but I would advise against just giving gog keys. Reason being is that you eliminate those who buy bundles just for gibs as well as collectors since they prefer steam version. Up to you in the end, but you guys have promise and I just want to help :D.

Thanks Cjcomplex. We get lots of feedback and we try to make everyone happy. For the foreseeable future we'll always be giving away Steam keys with all of our bundles. It's what a huge majority of our customers are looking for.

Hey can we do like "Humble Bundle" purchase
Reserved at $1 USD and increase the amount later for BTA

Sorry, I am not understanding your question. Are you asking if you purchase at $1 whether you can upgrade to BTA at a later time? If so then the answer is yes.

Permalink

Just to make sure, there's one extra mystery movie in each Tier right? Except the 1 USD tier.

Yes, that's correct. We've revealed the BTA tier mystery already though. On the 24th we'll reveal the last movie.

It was on my wishlist, I can't wait for next week reveal! As I said, this is a great bundle for people who are into "indie" movies and not just games. I'm curious about the number of bundles sold, there's not a counter like in the Forgotten God bundle (I really hope you're doing well).

If you haven't already checked it out we've added the last mystery movie to the Devolver Digital MovieBundle. It's the award winning "How We Got Away With It."

I'm on a short vacation now and a bit far away from the computer but yeah, I checked it and it's another I had in my wishlist so... Thank you again for this nice bundle, it was worth the price. I really hope the sales will be good and that you will do another one (movies/music oriented) in the future, among the regular game bundles! :)
