Thanks for letting me know they were on sale. I was waiting to buy the third game until Final Cut got closer to release, but it got delayed twice already. I'm really glad I didn't pay full price.

thx for the tip. ive got the first 2 games via trading games that i didnt want. And 8 bucks for the third is ok. hopefully the Final cut gets a bit of a facelift concerning balance and the skill tree. I remember one of the icespells (blizzard or something) being so ridiculous op that you could almost insta kill every monster in sight

The game you get for free is a gift copy or added to your library?

I was disappointed with all of the Final Cut delays myself, but I'd rather they take time to polish it instead of releasing another disaster (Batman: Arkham Knight anyone?). On the bright side, as soon as I found out they were offering free copies to VH trilogy owners I went ahead and got the third while it was on sale. :P

@levyl: My understanding is it'll appear in your Steam library.

Caved in and got part 3 of the series.
Got the 1st and 2nd from Humble Jumbo bundles, which I picked up primarily for other games, but these look cool in their own right.

Was planning to give the 1st one another go soon. But with the sale going on, might as well spend some cash and get the Final Cut version when it comes out instead, then play that..

So, just got VH3, previously have 1-2 chapters. Am I still getting Final Cut or this promo is over? Because i don't see final cut in my library

The safest way to ensure your free copy of Final Cut is to buy the missing title in advance, but we won’t pressure anyone to do so. One way or another, we’ll try to make it work.
