If I get two GTX 670's for SLI I'll save $300, but the Titan looks promising...

Take a look at the 690.
Edit: Also, I'd vouch for two. But that's just me. I can't even tell you why. THE MORE THE MERRIER! :D

Multi GPU.

multi GPU requires extra programming from the ground up. name me a game that uses it well and i will name u 20 that dont.

No programmer is gonna go...hey man u know what would be fun programming for a multi GPU...its not like our life is already hell.

Just buy a top of the line card it. SLI/crossfire is just a gimmick for its price to its power ratio.

Granted, you dont get a 100% return on investment but I wouldnt label it a gimmick. You might as well tell users to only buy single core processors since 1 in 20 applications released dont fully utilize multiple cores.

Single-GPU of course. Here is one of the reasons why.

after 2-3month some new card'll be announced and titan's price\power will be MUCH LOWER than any new card. it's like to buy a tank and use it in the city. with all traffic you would drive at only 30-60km\h. ye, you can buy nvidia titan. for 1-2 years, not more. or buy a new gtx 670 for 1 year. and then you would sell it and buy a new one (gtx 770 870 970 etc)

"much lower" really? Granted a new card may be released in 2-3months thats a bit more powerful but it would be on the level of 670->680 difference.

2x or 3x Titan will be better :D. If you buy 2x 7970ghz edition or 680 OC will be better than one Titan, practically in all cases, I think if I would buy a 1k$ graphics card, I will go with Titan, more future proof and more upgradable, because you can get in future another to get an SLI with Titan, so single GPU.

If you are looking to drop 1k on a graphics card, it would be best to wait a year for the entire line to be released. Two 680's would give you more performance, or you could stick to a single 670 if you insist on staying with Nvidia.

Only fools with more money than sense buy the Titan.
It's terrible value for money.

2x 670 is faster than a single titan. So Titan is way too expensive to buy as a single card. Yet you see people getting 2 titans and putting those in SLI...

a tip:
u never go for most expensive cards.

More money doesnt mean more processing power.
Its all about power vs cost ratio

I own a 590GTX, its a dual gpu it works far better then a SLI setup, but still not as good as a single GPU. Now don't get me wrong with a dual gpu you get more raw power, but you still end up overpaying it. It's not our fault, it's a problem with how the code for games is written.

Bottom line, if your a PC gamer OF PC games go for a sli or a dual gpu, if your going to be playing mostly console ports go with a single gpu card.
