Hello, need help with my first gift giveaway.

I added a new giveaway for a Gravity Ghost gift that I had rotten on my steam account.
There is a problem thought, the winner is not able to get it as seems it is regionally locked ( There is nothing saying so on the gift)

The winner have been a great guy , really! He gifted it back and asked for me to contact support , so , I don't think it's fair that he gets nothing.

So , I asked him to select any bundle ( I wanted to buy the gift from steam for him , but I am not sure now that will even work) , and he doesn't want to.
Still, he has been a great guy and I think he deserves it.

Also, what should I do on my giveaway? I could ask for a re roll , but what if is regionally locked for the next winner too?

Any suggestions?

What should I do?

Give that man a cookie!
Give that man a bundle!
Give that man a potato!
You are on your own , dude

Ask for the giveaway to be removed else yes you get alot of people that have the same region lock problem.

And if someone doesn't want something you can't really force them.

+1 ask the guy if he would consent to have the giveaway deleted and then make a support ticket linking the proof.

What region are you from?
Region lock occurs when the buyer is from a specific region- so yes, that region lock is going to persist through future giveaways. Once you figure out what region code it associates to, however, you can just post it as a region-locked giveaway and make sure it goes to people who can activate it.

As far as generous recipients- that's up to you. It's not a big deal, persay, and there's nothing the winner could have done different [other than be a jerk about it].
Flip side, too many people are jerks about it -.-
So if you feel they deserve it, by all means-
Just keep in mind some of us actually mean 'no, thanks' when we say it, though :)
