"In short Give games that are not given away for free before." Pfff what part is that difficult to understand?

If you got something for free, pretty much count on it, you will not get leveled up, and even if you somehow paid for these games then it doesn't matter. Pay for bundles, pay for gifts from steam, then you will level up.

Pfff

believe it or not this is something that was kinda "obscure" also here. faq, forum and experience then cleared things up and got the full picture.

also, it's not always something about "pay for keys --> get the CV".

Not completely understand you, but it's why i said pay for bundles/gifts and not pay for keys of games that been given away free, from whatever that that would give cv or not. ;)

And yeah okay even in bundles you can get free games, so will delete that. I think though most are just tired of it getting this topic over and over again, when most people have been active for some time to figure out how the site works a little (when they won alot), and just use half a brain to think why do some people pay $ while i try to give some free games/shit and we would both level up the same?

I dunno why i even tried to bother really with my first reply, should just ignore these things.

If a game's been given away at mass previously on a different site, then the game loses its value here. So basically buy a bundle, for example, and make sure that none of those games were given away for free before.

Under the linked FAQ under Headline "Contributor Value and Levels" is a subpoint "Why did my level decrease?" Point 2 of this subpoint answers your Question.

Complete Quote from the mentioned Point 2:
"Certain games on our site are flagged as "No Value" or "Reduced Value". This is done manually by our volunteers, and therefore there might be a delay before these values are assigned. For example, a game might be included in a bundle on January 10, 2018. If on January 13, 2018 we flag that game as "Reduced Value", with an effective date starting January 10, 2018 (the day the bundle started), then giveaways created between January 10-13, 2018 would have their value reduced accordingly."

If you need help because of an translation issues let us (the community) know and i am sure you will get further help.

"But i had one level"

Sorry. Had to.

The games you gave away were free games. They were added to the site's list on a later date that's why you leveled up first and then lost the level when the games' corresponding CV decreased.

There are plenty, sometimes a site will give away loads of keys as a promotion, like Humble Bundle when they have a sale on.
First non-trash game I noticed that was 0 CV was Superhot

The list tends to infinity... I recall Guacamelee and AER - Memories of old, both really nice 0CV games, for example. :)

I think AER (...) has only lower value, not 0....

I consider good games the games I play and like. Of course I'm not saying they're the best ever games, but good enough to avoid being classified as "trash games".
Then, of course, everybody has his own opinion.

Spec Ops - The Line, The Darkness 2, Lichdome Battlemage, WH40k Space Marine.... games which prices, when they were firstly released, were more than 30€, very good games in my opinion for 0CV

would you call a game which base game costs today 20,-€ with 96% of 131,918 reviews a bad game?
euro truck simulator might not be the game you like but the community loves it and it was given away for free as well^^

It's because you've been killed and lost too much exp. Try not to die in future games!

I've heard that everytime you don't win a giveaway you entered, you die and your CV is reset to 0
