Anyone played Knock-knock, Dokuro, Ori or the Blind Forest, and found that the character will automatically keep moving left. However, when I'm playing Borderlands 2, Limbo, and Spate, I do not encounter this problem. Anyone has solutions?

I have this problem in many games as well. You're using Windows 10, right? I think you need to force install the Windows 7/8 drivers but I haven't tried it yet.

Have you tried your controller on Windows 7? I would like to know if changing system would solve this.

I use a xbox360 wireless on win 7 and never had this kind of problem. I don't think it will help you much though. :/

I haven't tried it on Windows 7 but in theory it solves the problem. You can force install the Windows 7/8 drivers on Windows 10 though

I found a pinned post in Broforce Discussions Xbox One Controller not working properly after Windows 10 Upgrade. Too bad... Maybe Microsoft messed it up...

Did you check for any firmware update, Shockingly microsoft troubleshooting guide suggest replacing the controller for this issue. Also check if its connected to USB 2.0 or 3.0 port. USB 2.0 is recommended.

I had checked the updates, and it said I had the latest driver. I connected it to USB 2.0 port.
Where did you see that Microsoft suggested people replacing the controller for this issue?

I think it is the different thing? Maybe what they mean is when the controller is defective, you can ask for a new one.

Drifting fits the description of the issue you are facing, however this is due to driver problem, best bet as of now is to juggle between the old and new drivers depending upon the game you are playing and wait for an update to fix the issue, or get a different controller.

I know you might have tried it but you might also not , have you reinstalled the drivers? I'm using an xbox one controller with wire on windows 8.1 , and since day 1 i had no problems at all. Make a clean unistall and try again.
If you see no solution , try the controller with a wire to see if the problem persists. If yes, then ask Microsoft for a replacement.
