Cant change position of Steam notifications

I can open and change the position of notifications in steam.styles located at Steamresourcestyles but when I launch Steam it starts to self update and override the files, so notifications still at bottom right. I'm on Win7 x64 Any tips?

Edit: Got it working by setting files as custom skin.
