It's getting mixed reviews, but it's a decent adventure game, and with this it can only get better.
Hmm... None, so far, of the remastered version. I do wonder if they re-did the staircase though... That thing irk'd me far more than the puzzles; which are the primary thing people complain about in the reviews. Half of them made little to no sense, or were more about trying to use logic or just run around like an idiot trying to figure out what you missed out on, as I did for over an hour towards the end.
And then were was that god awful boss fight at the very end. Not even button mashing (or mouse clicking fever) could help with that. It was pure dumb luck with virtually no instructions given for that fight -- or any part of the game.
Definitely does hint with the update notes that they've addressed at least some of these things though. I'll be interested to see new reviews after today. I definitely enjoyed the game as it was, even if horribly frustrating at times. Kinda a bit too long-winded though for my tastes, or would have gone back to purposefully 100% the Achievements (well, maybe except for that boss fight one... Did I mention it took me around 14~15 attempts to finally defeat her?)

That Staircase thing was annoying yeah (which also added to making the game feel long, same with that tower) , i just used the guide on it.
Also noticed a few bugs, by pressing certain keys you gained an infinite number of certain items.
Midway the amount next to the balls got removed (did not know if it was a bug or supposed to be like that, apparently it is.) I didn't want to replay the game 2-3 times over just because of an achievement so i gave up there. Hope the new update also fixes that.
The dev is also who made the Teddy Floppy games so maybe it was also slightly designed with children in mind.
