When it makes more than 3 weeks to reply to a single ticket, I don't call that impatient, I call them slow.

Also, 2 others tickets that was opened on another account, was never replied at all (3 months as we speak).

Yes I have 2 steam account(that my friend use). I don't use the other one for creating/winning giveaway, I used it to register here and test that awesome support function, which they never replied at all.

There are over a thousand open tickets and yours is arguably the least important. Mark it as 'not received' after seven days. We're not perma-banning people for not understanding how the site works or else we'd have to get you, too, since you apparently didn't even know that much. Mods are NYPA.

Those are totally different things, really.

Anyway, I think you already achieved your goal: get a mods attention (in this case wbarton).

From what I can tell, this thread isn't going anywhere. You've vented your anger, but at the same time other users complained about your complaining, thus only giving more fuel to the fire.

I also have support ticket that are over 3 months old, bt as a frequent forum user, I know that support is doing the best at answering tickets and that there aren't that many users with a support role.
I also know that there will be no new staff until SGv2 will go live, so we all have to bear with it and make the best of it =)

You are right, I was angry. Its not like I came here 2 days after submitting a ticket.. its 3 months.

I will wait for support to take action on these guys.

I'm just trying to help this community getting rid of fakers but it seems like a hard job at the same time.. so yeah. I'll just wait and see!

The Giveaway Slot function takes care of fakers to a degree without our intervention. New user -> 3 Not Received giveaways -> No more giveaway slots.

Unfortunately, the support tickets are a LIFO stack, so you should bump your ticket once a week if it's important.

There will be more mods on SGv2, at least that's what cg said =)

Mark as not received and move on, support won't ban people for making fake giveaways. those people will however run out of giveaway slots so they can't make many of them, only 3.

i know this may sound silly, but have you checked the status of the user you reported?

i reported a user for re-gifting a game that he won (with proof ofcourse), although the results wasnt instantaneous
i happen to check my ticket and the status of the user 1 week after, the user got suspended yet there was no reply to my ticket

Edit: oh wait, you got suspended i guess this kinda proves the support is functional XD

I hate the support here, I get banned for like 4 days, I submit a support ticket, but they only reply after my suspension was finished. Go figure. Also I submitted a report about a false giveaway and it took over a month to respond, however once they did, they did absolutely nothing about it.

By far the best support team I have ever seen, ever.
