TF2 Economy help needed...

So! I think i have 3 refined metal and i'm not premium ( i can't even if i wanted to ) what should i do with those?

Less than half a key. Also, you have to premium to trade, so he can't do anything with them.

They are untradeable unless you go premium, so theres nothing else you can do but letting them rot in your inventory.. may I ask why you cant go premium? Because normally I´d advice to use 0,07€ Wallet-Money to go Premium and trade the 3 ref for a very cheap game or maybe something you can sell on the market like a ToD-Ticket and make at least a few cents that way.

I can't go premium because I live in Tunisia and I'm not able to use funds on steam or even in-game, the few game i have are either won here or got from some friends.

yes i'm aware of that..but the whole problem is obtaining the funds in the first place ( and I'm just 17 )

ah damn, thats bad :/ Other ways to get Premium would be buying the Orange Box or try to get this item from somebody via trading (with DOTA2/CS:GO items, other games, etc..), but that would be far too expensive if you´d do it only to get the three ref.

If you crafted this you cant trade them, but if someone give you item you can trade it ( all gifted items are tradable ). If you wanna sell your droped items you need premium. all items for achievments are not tradable ( even on premium) ... i think its all.

btw.

1 tf2 key = 7-8 ref

OP already said that all his games come from friends, so the market is no option.

and the whole idea to use the market is to get money in his wallet in the first place.

But then paypal doesn't like Turkey, so not sure it would work anyway...

If you were smart and crafted your ref using normal and not achievement weapons, then the ref will be tradable as soon as you get premium.

Of course, in order to get premium to have to buy something from the TF2 store first, so you could try selling card drops on the market and then test-running a weapon then buying it for like a few cents.

yeah..but I didn't say with which weapons I crafted the metals..the ones in my inventory are already deleted but for some reason they still show up
