In a similar vein, I'd also recommend checking out Ultimate Chicken Horse and King of the Eggs.
This game is sadly not casual, more like rage fuel.
Stardew Valley works really well.
Can you explain how the online works? I have it on Ios and i cannot think how will the multiplayer part work
One player hosts their farm. Other players (up to 4 people total) can each have a cabin on the farm. Everyone works together. It's a nice time c:
It’s pretty much as Porphyrous says.
If you’re using pc, it uses internet to connect. You use a save file and have an option to play multiplayer if you have Friend cabins or make a new save file with some. You get a Friend code in game and give it to player 2 to add to their game to join.
The Borderlands series is probably the most time I've spend in online co-op, and a complete blast.
Divinity Original Sin is great if you want to play a co-op RPG.
Gears of War is great in co-op.
The Division is a lot of fun.
The Secret World is really nice as a f2p co-op MMO.
Cook Serve Delicious 1 or 2? What about Human Fall Flat?
BTW this forum is for "Bugs / Suggestions" for this site, not for you to ask for game suggestions ;) So you might want to edit your post and change the category to General or Off-Topic
No online coop for CSD1 and 2 unless the dev made it and I'm not aware of them.
Any of the Borderlands games. Seriously awesome games, you'll have a great time.
Steep on uplay it is free now !!!
Pay day 1
Left 4 dead 2
Diablo 3 (or any similar game)
League of Legends or Heroes of the Storm
These are my TOP games, that I play with friends
It needs to be asked if she doesn't mind violence/gore.
I would recommend both the Borderlands and Saints Row series.
Im going to say Deep Rock Galactic https://store.steampowered.com/app/548430/Deep_Rock_Galactic/
Great fun game about mining and shooting bugs.
What genre of games do you know she likes or doesn't like? What about build quality? Indy games ok?
Orcs Must Die 2
Human Fall Flat
Killing Floor 2 (or even 1)
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light (and The Temple of Osiris)
Heroes of Might & Magic series (especially 3)
Mortal Kombat series
Dont Starve Together. Updated recently and releasing new content at 0 additional cost, currently new content under beta. Overwhelming Positive, Loads of mods, to cater to your playing needs. Low price of $15, also if I am not mistaken, you buy 1 copy and receive another in your inventory, I am pretty sure that policy still exist. One of the nicest indie company that exist in the industry. Have fun! ^_^
when I checked the store page during the sale it said you get a second copy free. didnt purchase so can not confirm, but id assume people would complain in the reviews if the second copy didnt work
Yep it should be, its also pretty easy to check it up, at least for me. The devs have a Twitch dev cast every Tues and Thurs, Canadian times so its easy to get an answer from them. Cheers, Have a Great Weekend ahead~
if you like to blow stuff up killing floor 2 is imho the most fun you can have when playing co-op / pve.
Have a look through this and maybe you find something interesting
Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
F.E.A.R 3 was fun for me and my friend.
7 Days to Die
Divinity Original Sin
Don't Starve Together
Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes (amazing coop/couch game)
Killing Floor 2 (currently on sale)
Ibb & Obb
if you enjoy puzzles
and Wyv and Keep if you do enjoy them as well
My gf doesn't play at all, so if she joins me we're usually playing really simple games. Like Ibb & Obb or Trine series.
She also loves Tricky Towers, it's a tetris clone with physics where you play against each other.
i am rereading all the comments, and i missed this one.
wishlisted will get it in the sale, thank you
No problem :)
She's also big on puzzle games but those are single player mostly. I've played Gorogoa and Baba is You and introduced her to those (via Steam library sharing). She's beaten Gorogoa and really loved it, mostly because of the artistic style. She likes Baba is You as well, but that game can be really frustrating at times, especially for people who haven't played games that much.
try the division its amazing i am playing it with my girl friend since 2017
Depends on what kind of games you both like. Below are some of the ones that I've played with others.
Armello Currently on sale on Humble Bundle store.
A friend gifted this game to me and I've played several games with them since. It's a lot of fun. It's basically a board game with the objective to become king. Each game lasts about 1 hour.
Any of the Civ games are pretty good to play with others because again, each game lasts about an hour or so. I had taken more of a liking to Civ IV: Beyond the Sword.
Terraria A friend gifted me a copy on Steam which I haven't played yet. Had it for Xbox though and liked it a lot.
Worms Franchise Silly games, but a hell of a lot of fun. lol. (Naming the worms can be pretty hilarious too when you have a few playing).
Try to play together a way out, its a must for anyone who is looking for a coop game with a great story and a lot of variety on the missions.
Yes!! Amazing game indeed
All the Lego games are a blast to play co-op, especially if she doesn't play much.
The Cave is also a pretty fun and hilarious platformer for co-op
