Hunter x Hunter is on hiatus, it's quite famous for going on hiatus out of nowhere for no set period of time. It will eventually comeback just wait and read Berserk in the meantime :)

I would like to see it as anime, too. To bad that it stopped back then,
The latest anime movies were good, but I preferred the episodes. Much darker and comic-like feelings.

The author of this manga was lazy to begin with ... still a monthly release that has less content then most weekly releases of other mangas

I love berserk so much. Got like halfway through the Manga and never got the rest but would really like to, and man do I wish they would continue the anime. One of my all time faves.

FINALLY!!! WOOOOOOOOO BERSERK! Time to go full on recap of manga.

On one hand yeah - I'm happy with that, but I doubt I will read it. It's been almost 5 years since I read it last time and after such a long break I'd probably have to reread all 3X volumes again before continuing to remeber all side-plots, characters etc - and it's not going to happen :/

And people say American superhero stories go on forever… At least Naruto had the sensibility to end after a decade or two, but this and One Piece will go for all eternity it seems.

so when are they bringing Hokuto No Ken back?

And I'm still waiting for new anime adaptation, sorry but I'm too lazy to read the manga.

Honestly, even with the long ass breaks, even with the bullshit of starting other new projects when he could have been still working on Berserk, i could never be mad at Miura. Sure, he's a lazy ass, and sure, other mangaka have managed to maintain monthly releases with manga of similar quality, but it was still such a great fucking ride while it lasted(and the feels... oh jebus the feels...) that i just can't be mad at him. Even if he does keep with monthly releases, i doubt it will last long, i see people speculating that the ones we will be getting now have been written during this huge hiatus and once he runs out of them(in like 10-15 months) he will take another huge break. So yeah, i doubt this great manga will ever be finished.

As for Hunter x Hunter while i really liked it at the start, the art quality became so utterly shit over time that it looked like a child's doodles(and made me wonder if the guy was letting his child draw it or smth). So i stopped reading back at the arc with the giant insects and, judging by what i saw in some of the later chapters, i'm glad i never went back to it.

An anime adaption would rock. Can't stand reading manga
The anime I am waiting for (that will never continue) is Bleach

Nice now i hope we get more indepth in the series cause atm u would be better off watching the 3 movies :) one of my favourites btw.

Now if only we could get a more indepth version of Gantz and a second season of Btoom

I wanted the continuation of anime, but manga is fine too. Not finished with current manga though, but nevermind, I'll get to it eventually.

Do you know why I don't care about it?
Here in Spain the manga has been published by several publishers. First it was published by 'Planeta' in a staple edition, and after some time they decided to cancel its publication. Then it was Mangaline, in a tankobon edition already. The publisher entered bankrupt, and Glenat bought the license. Glenat started publishing all the tankobon tomes again, and even releasing new tomes never published before in Spain. Later Glenat became independent from the parent company and renamed itself EDT. Few months later it lost all the Shueisha's licenses and soon it went bankrupt too. Actually nobody wants to publish Berserk again, after 36 tomes published in Spain, even if it was always among the best seller mangas. I have 31 tomes with 3 different bindings and no hope to see new tomes again.
