This is more an opinion than a fact. I would have still included it if you're including 0/10. :P

Funny and complex enough.
Next game: shadow of the collosus?

In all seriousness, its the only puzzle game I've tried on steam where it didn't get old, or grindy. When they introduced a new concept it felt fun. Personally I think the Talos Principle felt like a chore sometimes.

9.9/10, from me. Seriously, IMHO, one of the best games there is, nearly flawless.
Some people say it is short, but I really value my time -- the game has almost no filler content whatsoever. And I had fun all the time, and even replayed some scenes to laugh again.
And, at the end, there is cake. What else do you want? ;)
Cheers!
Tomorrow: Hearthstone.

I played it for the first time a couple of months ago, and was underwhelmed. I liked it, but I wasn't blown away. Part of the problem, I'm sure, is that I played The Talos Principle first. I was also expecting a LOT of story, and there really isn't that much there, which I found disappointing.

Enjoyed the gameplay and mechanics but it gave me horrible motion sickness afterwards. Powered through it (because I liked it so much) but it ruined the remainder of my night. Not sure why it affected me the way it did, since this doesn't seem to be a come complaint about the game.
Overall, I would say that it is somewhere between 8-9, and a must play for anyone who wishes to experience the best that this medium has to offer. I would go more in depth, but I'm too tired to give a proper overview of my thoughts on the game.
Suggestion for tomorrow: Bastion.

I've heard that complaint about the Portal games-- just yesterday in fact. Didn't affect me though. Glad that you powered through!

A solid 9/10 for me.
Gameplay: Let's be serious, it was a pioneer of modern puzzle games. So innovative. And the best part is that it worked oh so well. Strong, fluid gameplay.
Accessibility: It had one of the best learning curves I've seen in a game. Every level taught you something new and pushed you. I think everyone can get into this game.
Story: Well, not much of a story but who cares? It was enough to keep me going. Dialogue was hilarious and top notch, and characters were awesome. You can easily forget characters from most story-driven RPGs but who can forget GLaDOS?
Overall: One of the masterpieces that will last throughout the ages. I've seen people ranging from a few years old to elderly enjoy this gem. I will always compare new puzzle games with Portal, as it became my standard for this genre.
Suggestion for tomorrow: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Don't own it. Never played it. Will tell you one day.

An interesting take to put an old puzzle game formula in 3D, with a bit unnecessarily self-pretentious storyline. Also, a really weak SHODAN rip-off as the main enemy. Cute end song though.
Average to somewhat above average in total. Nice as a puzzle game, but not particularly strong as an atmospheric horror if you have played any of the System Shocks before.

7/10
Interesting and fun mechanics, good controls assuming you're familiar with WASD+mouse (8). Story / setting is pretty weak as most of it is based on conjecture (5), characters are nonexistent apart from GladOS (6). Pretty overrated, as most Valve games are.
Suggestion for tomorrow: Baldur's Gate

I'd give it a 9/10. Part of what made it great was that for many of us, we'd never played a game like it. It's like rating Pac-Man. This isn't a complaint, just an observation.
For me, the primary factor for rating a game is based on how much I enjoyed it while playing it, not taking 10 points and subtracting points based on its flaws, like a quiz or term paper or something. I thoroughly enjoyed playing Poral-- Portal 2 even more so. FWIW, I think it's petulant not to allow somebody to choose 10/10. :P It didn't affect me since either way I'd give 9/10.
Suggestion for tomorrow: Remember Me.
Alternate suggestion: Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Thank you for an interesting discussion topic.
