Should Steam Gifts create an official dark theme?
Why not just use one of the unofficial ones? Yes, an official one would be better, but the unofficial ones work just fine.

Nope. Not even one. Assuming you're talking about JavaScript that can be loaded with some browser add-on (e.g. scripts from userstyles.org), none of the steamgift's themes work correctly. Fonts are messed up with some, with others only few things change colour, none is addressing system defaults so if you have system theme different than vanilla you get black letters on dark background, etc.

The issues were Stylish specific. I use Greasemonkey. But thanks to you I've found out sgv2-dark has a Greasyfork version that works perfect! :)
Btw. system defaults actually bleed into input fields, e.g. if you set a font colour to black but no background colour it might happen your inputs are unreadable when the user's theme sets default background as black as well. Every few versions of Firefox tries to respect user themes (e.g. 46.0.1), I don't know about Chrome and Safari.
