whats the cheapest csgo knife

I didn't bother to look through all of them, but the Gut Knives are about 65 USD. Cheapest I saw with a quick market search

I don't suppose I have to point out how this is a humongous waste of money.

Gut Knives are the cheapest. Look for the less popular skins like Boreal Forest, Urban Masked etc.

How to knife?

If I were you I'd wait until the huntsman case goes down to about 5 cents per case. Lots of people don't like the huntsman knife and if you do get a knife from that case it's always the huntsman knife. It'll go down to like $60.
