What I need is simple:

  1. A normal to do list, similar to any other app (I'm using google keep for this)
  2. A repeated daily to do list (but excluding weekends), say "do 30 minutes workout" and "study x 1 hour" or "conference call at 1pm"

Suggestions welcome. It doesn't matter if it's also for android or ios since I don't use them for this.

Important: for this, LESS IS BETTER. I don't need any kind of complex app.

I just use the notes on my smartphone's calendar.
Or you can try "Google Now"

I need the app to be online, not on smartphones. I'll make that clearer.

I never liked it for my smartphone (Any.DO is better there) but I'm trying it for Windows/online usage. Seems to be really good but I can't choose to ignore Weekends on recurrent tasks.

Edit: used it for a couple weeks but it doesn't do recursive apps right. Too bad because it's a nice app.

seems quite complex but will try

edit: doesn't have repeated events that skips weekends, but seems to be awesome for projects. Will keep in mind for them, though I can manage them with Wunderlist...

I've been very pleased with Toodledo. It's very easy to use it's basic features, and it's got a few power ones in there too for when you need them.

Rainlendar is a nice customizable app. simple, many skins available, toDo list, events, etc.also is very simple to use.
edit: you can configure this to skip weekends, or any week day, also it has several options for repeat.

Check out the Chrome app Momentum. It replaces a new tab with a nice background with clock and todo list.

Bump. Still looking for the right tool.

Started testing HabitRPG which has a daily task, besides, gamification. Might be interesting.
