What should I play next? (DS edition) (gib over)

I'm going to go against the majority here and say Nostalgia. It's a charming little JRPG with a few balance issues, but nothing too bad.
Chrono Trigger is good but I always thought it was overrated.

Fire Emblem Awakening or Fates

My vote goes to tales of the abyss / professor layton and the curious village. I would also recommend Fantasy Life & shin megami tensei games.

Dragon Quests any of them! Saw the post about bravely default.... its so cake walk you don't even need to play it will beat itself just turn it on and walk away. Looks good and is a lot like FF but wow zero zero challenge. On the list Nostalgia was kinda cool. I might have to check out Luigi mansion I didn't know there was one on DS.

I voted for Green Mario because he is always in the shadow od his brother.

Hotel Dusk

Having seen that you started Chrono Trigger, I voted for it. That said, I'm a huge fan of many of these series.

The Layton games are delightful and very easy to work into bite-sized sessions. This is great for commute or bedtime gaming.

Similarly, I really enjoyed the original Etrian Odyssey, and the version you have sounds like a novel combination of a more story-based game with the standard EO Wizardry throwback.

I don't know much about jRPG, sorry:-(

Haven't played any of those, sorry. Damn I so want a 3DS but they are too expensive here and I'm saving for a GPU.
BTW, not sure if you played Ghost Trick before? It's great, from the creator of Phoenix Wright so you'll probably like it.

I would also consider the Picross series. Both Chrono Trigger and Professor Layton series are excellent choices too.

Completely unbiased opinion here! Tales of the Abyss is a mandatory play, even if it's not now! Definitely one of my favourite games of all time, up there with Tales of Symphonia. Chrono Trigger is also an amazing choice.

One of my favourite DS series! Biased because I love puzzle games. :P

If you somewhat like bleach: Bleach: The Third Phantom. There are others, but they didnt reach the level of this one.
Bleach: The Blade of Fate was addequite.

Top gun is great fun if you play with 4 players. Cant remember much about the missions.

edit, there was also this game where you had to dig up fossils and could awaken them to fight for you. Bit like Pokemon, however you where part of the battle as well and could die as far as I kan remember. and it wasnt turn based like pokemon I think....
Not sure, but you could feed the fossils stuff, to speed up there evolution to the next stage or something ^^ Not really usefull am I? :P

I haven't played it myself, but Codename: STEAM looks promising. I plan to play it someday. :)

I only have DS so i never played those 3DS games. Firstly you have to finish EVERY PHOENIX WRIGHT GAME EVER, including Apollo Justice and Investigations: Miles Edgeworth.
A nice adventure game (point and click) was Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and the sequel, and Ghost Trick (this one is more of a puzzle).

i don't know any of the games... need links to decide...

Tales of the Abyss is awesome, cleared twice and currently doing a third playthrough. Currently playing Bravely Default, it is amazing, reminds a bit of older FFs (I & III). And I have Etrian Odyssey Untold on my backlog for a long time, will do it after Bravely.

So voted Bravely Default beacause can only vote once, but the Abyss is awesome too.

I don't know what genre's you like, but I've been thinking about revisiting these games which I totally loved:
