Yesterday, some assh*le blacklisted me because I've explained that give away Limbo 10 minutes after being free was totally wrong. I don't care about bl, but sometimes people suck.

My blacklist? Only smartasses.

Some people do care about being blacklisted. I've seen threads started where the author is wondering why they might have been. Whenever there is a discussion on whether to say "thank you" or not when entering a giveaway, people often show up saying they're afraid of doing the wrong thing in case they get blacklisted.

I do agree that there's not much entertainment to be had out of reading a post where someone says how many people are on their blacklist. That said, there's often entire threads created just for that kind of thing and other similar ones where people are just asked to enter a number. "How long since you last won?", "How many games do you have wishlisted?" , "How many giveaways have you entered in total?", those kind of things, so some people are actually interested in the number of times people have done whatever. I even post on those kinds of threads sometimes although I don't really read other people's answers.

Whilst I can agree that reading about people's blacklists isn't exciting for me, there might well be people who are thinking that nobody really cares to hear OP complaining about others talking about their blacklists. There's probably a whole load of people who don't care about this post too, and for that reason I'm out.

I'd rather be blacklisted than read rude posts.

I'm way more annoyed by threads ranting over the blacklist system than people who use blacklists without being noisy about it. I mean, honestly. We get a rant thread almost every day, stop caring about blacklists so much.

For your information, I completely cleared my blacklist a week ago, so I'm not guilty of blacklist overuse.

No one cares if you blacklist them.

The amount of whining in the forum about blacklisting would indicate that you're wrong.

So here's some free advise: Adding people to your blacklist doesn't make you any less of a looser.

And creating a discussion thread just to rant and insult a group of people doesn't make you a winner.

How to get blacklisted:

1. Post an opinion, preferably an unpopular one or one where the other side likes to play the victim card for no other reason than to feel special.
2. Done!
