Hi there, just got my problems here.
And I will explain this chronogically:

  1. I want to sell my CSGO keys from my Steam mobile apps on my phone
  2. I clicked sell and some red words appear and it's written that "the items will deleted from inventory and appear on market" (some thing like that, I forget the exact words)
  3. The item is gone in my inventory. I use mobile authenticator but nothing on confirmation menu, nor in the market section. My CSGO keys is just missing.
  4. Want to contact Steam Support but I don't know where to contact them.
ps: I dont play CSGO or have been VAC banned.

anyone can help or give recommendation what to do?

edit: My best hope is it just a glitch. Ticket sent to Steam support, hope they can resolve this. Here's the gib

Yep, the 'red words' basically told that I have 'sold' the item so it will not in my inventory, but I'm checking on my confirmation tab (as usually mobile authenticator does), but nothing to confirm there nor the market list.

ps: checked the support but nothing to sent ticket there :(

it is super hard to contact the steam support actually. I once searched for hours to find a way to contact them, because most topics only loop through the FAQ without ever giving you the chance to write a ticket. I needed to get a direct link to the ticket writing site for a topic that had nothing to do with what I wanted to write a ticket about, because it seems like they only take tickets for the trading topic.
When I went the way back from that link and did the stages it said I came from, I got back to being looped through the FAQ.

I work in customer support and from the way the site is built, they don't want to get tickets and hope you give up before finding a way to contact them.

There's no option to delete them. There's only the option to sell them. Check your trade history, maybe you've been scammed and you don't know it.

It's an example. I'm just guessing you've been scammed. Have you checked your trade history, as I told you? And your market history too.

click on community and market tab to check if they are listed for sale in steam - otherwise, there is more to the story than the list you gave :)

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I'm saying this because Steam itself likes to glitch out at times and I've experienced similar cases myself... but did you check your inventory again after a few minutes? (I can see you have 10 CS:GO keys in there right now, for example).

You've experienced this? Yes I checked, my CSGO keys before was 12. So, 2 keys is missing.
If this was glitch, will it be back to my inventory?

I don't recall the details unfortunately, and I don't know if there was a warning like the one you described but it didn't take long for the keys to appear where they should have for me (either inventory or market), a couple of minutes max. Something seems to be fishy if you're still not seeing them anywhere :/

Where you want to sell them? Steam community market or some other shit websites?

steam community market :)

I clicked sell and some red words appear and it's written that "the items will deleted from inventory and appear on market" (some thing like that, I forget the exact words)

It will say 'Removed' not "Deleted". Removed as in only from your inventory but exist on market. If you want those keys back (if those hasn't been sold yet) go to Steam -> Community -> Market. The keys will be listed there.

Even if you use their mobile shit, if it's not active for 7 days, you still get the 15-day ban from the market... and in the end, like me, sell nothing because you can't predict 15 days in the past. Check the market, there's probably a banner there saying your items are in hold.

Welcome to the shit that's SGMA.

I will double-check that, thanks :)

What?
When usingthe mobile 2fa all items are for sale immedeatly.
There is no delay.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Only after you use it 7 days. Before that, it's like it doesn't exist.
Or if you switch phones, or new device, or new login, or refreshed cookies.

The options to get screwed are many~!

Only after you use it 7 days.

Yes.

Or if you switch phones, or new device...

Thats the same, but yes. Counts as getting a new auth.

... or new login, or refreshed cookies.

No, thats just plain false. If you use 2FA everything is availiable after your first login.

So after the first week of setting up / restoring a phone as 2FA token there is no delay anymore.

No, with new device I meant login from like a different PC.
And plenty of people report having to re-do login and getting locked out again on refreshing their cookies.

I just checked it.
Loging in from a new PC does NOT prevent you from instantly putting up market items.

Actually, I switched phones and could sell right away, couldn't trade for a week tho.

Not sure if I was lucky or that was intended.

I checked now your inventory and keys seems to be there - already solved?
But If you can't see entire CS:GO tab in your inventory, then install and run CS:GO if you have it.
Same thing happened to me with CS:GO, Team Fortress and Dota 2 - entire tabs just disappeared from Steam inventory.
Installing and running those games, then accessing in-game inventory solved that problem. Appropriate tabs appeared in Steam again. Maybe it's even enough to just run them, without going to game inventory.

+1 i see keys in inventory too.. it's probably a steam server hiccup of some type, and they're still really there.

Permalink

I had 12 keys before this, so the 2 keys is missing/deleted/hold/anything that can happen with them :(

If you can see tab and other keys\items, then it seems to be another problem. Sorry.
But still might be worth to try running CS:GO if you can and see if it would resolve issue.

I don't have CSGO game, I have CSGO keys for trading purpose only

Permalink

I don't play it now either. Never really liked it.
But got it exactly out of items/trading thoughts as some kind of warranty/assurance.
Disappearing tabs is known issue. And running those games is known solution for that.
But i don't know about your cause.
Consider getting CS:GO. Though It might be not worth it at all. Can't really recommend that - it's up to you.
I thought it's reason why some prefers TF keys/items over CS - exactly because they don't want to buy game and TF is free.
But i might be wrong.

Have you checked your recent transactions and see if they sold as soon as you posted them?

Has the amount in your steam wallet changed?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

No, my wallet's not changed since. Nothing on recent transactions, market history or my inventory history.

Permalink

Maybe check on the community market page if there are pending confirmations ?

And your transaction history ? Maybe you sold them on wrong price ?

nothing there. I have sold a card after this and they just popped up on confirmations. But not my keys.
nothing on transaction history either.

Try to make a trade to open the trade window and see if the 2 keys appear there, I solved something similar doing that

Can you see your CS:GO inventory or is it missing?

If #2, try buying a CS:GO crate to fix that bug.

It happened to me once.

In this case, my missing keys is chroma case 3, so I buy chroma case 3? How's that helping fix bug btw?
-sorry, I dont recall any csgo item but keys

Again, can you see your CS:GO inventory or not?
Buying an item of that inventory reloads it.

Yes, I can see my csgo inventory. and sadly it didn't work for me.
Lol

Check your outgoing trades just in case they were sent to someone.

Easy solution

Go to http://steamcommunity.com/market/
Scroll down to where it says Pending listings (or something like that)
Cancel your pending listings.

This happened to me before. The items are stuck in the pending limbo, not listed on the market and not in your inventory. The above worked for me to fix.

Edit: just read the above and saw you already tried this. Sorry this won't work out after all. :(

Yep, I think is on pending limbo, but nothing seen there.

just another thought (may of been tried too i haven't fully read this thread):

have you tried to list another item since the pending limbo such as a trading card to see if maybe that will somehow make the steam servers realize you already have something else pending?

Yes I did. Sell a trading card without a problem at all.
