I also played around with Hexels, i´m really loving it. I also made my current profile pic with it. I'm looking forward for your artpieces combined in this puzzle :)

It's a lot of fun! I'll make myself an avatar as well at one point, but currently more interested in environemnents and buildings.
For now, only one artpiece is featured in this short train, my first piece. The next one will come after this train ended.

Its a great idea to make a puzzle out of it, i also thought about it. My thought was about making guess the game from the image. But i guess its pretty hard to make a game recognizable. I also experienced that making humans is pretty difficult.

Well it can be a challenge definitely - but I guess the first point you made goes for any art style that is very different from the game's. The key is to pick a very characteristic area/thing to "draw". While the Bell of Awakening itself is not too popular (I've never seen a fanart of it in my life), but you see it because there are at least two cutscenes in the game where you get a good view of it, so it's fairly recognisable if you've played the game. Though since it's nothing as "famous" as, say, Firelink Shrine, someone who hasnt played the game will not recognise it.
Following the colour scheme is also important to help people recognising stuff.
Making humans... well, I havent tried but I'd rather not do it at least for a while (if ever), I think unless I'd use a huge canvas, I'd just get frustrated by not being able to convey detail. It's worth looking into The Last Door by The Game Kitchen, they did some fantastic stuff:

I'm learning Hexels 2.5 and I thought it's a good idea to combine learning a new program to draw with GAs. The puzzle at the end features my first drawing with the program, a Dark Souls fanart.
Unfortunately I cant make more than 4 GAs at the moment due to low level on my account, so I had to go with a short train. The first three games are Puzzle-themed trash, but I promise the one after the actual puzzle isn't!
Begins in roughly an hour, ends on 12 Feb, my birthday when I will make a bigger, better train with new artwork!
