Should points be refunded to entrants when a giveaway is deleted?
Points are constantly regenerating, and are free to boot.

Would it be possible to return the points entrants spent on giveaways that are deleted?
True, you may argue that every entry comes with an inherent risk: you are essentially gambling on the opportunity to acquire a game and points regenerate, yadda-yadda-yadda... yet when the giveaway turns out to be utterly spurious, the entrants have forfeited their points for naught.
I'm a staunch advocate of doing your research, thus a recent giveaway --- by a new member who had never provided anything before --- of Grand Theft Auto V raised more than a few warning bells. Even so, I chanced it. Lo and behold, ten minutes later the giveaway was deleted and I was out 60 points. Arguably, I should have known better, aye? Yet on that off-chance it was genuine, and the even more far-fetched chance I'd win, I tried.
Again, you might argue that as a contributor I should have known better, but try this example that occurred at nearly the same time: a giveaway for Magicite, a moderately inexpensive game, was sponsored by a member who had provided giveaways in the past. It too was deleted and abruptly I was out 10 more points.
Looking at my "Entered" giveaways list, roughly fifteen or twenty of the greater than one-thousand I've joined have been deleted. That is hardly, by any means, a terrible statistic and likely accounts for no more than 500 points total. Even so, those are hundreds that could have been spent on an entry to legitimate giveaways.
