Yeah, seems really fishy concidering steam login popups in new window and when clicking a link on the popup it opens another window instead of just following the link :)

The same happened to me today but when they asked me to vote for the thing I asked if it wasn't phishing so they hitted me with a "sry what?" and went silent afterwards. The conversation didn't even reach the point of sharing the link, they escaped as soon as they felt I wasn't following along.
