Tier 2 for the orc-fightin'!
Tier 1 for Dungeon Souls!
Tier 3. I like to collect things.
Tier 4. $70 for a T-shirt. How could I say no?!
I don't want anything. Go away and close the door on your way out.

An easy T3 here.

You're confusing T3 and T4.

Don't forget the $30 T-shirt.

For Monthlies, you can just put an M instead of a 1 in the chart. Makes it more visible than a line at the bottom of the thread.

$70 for the t-shirt. Comes with a microtransaction-laden free-to-play game or something though.

The 10 dollar tier and buying shadow of war on steam is cheaper than buying the 80 dollar bundle. Not only that but I have a feeling shadow of war will end up with mixed or negative reviews because of the SP microtransactions making the bundle name slightly misleading.

But t-shirt tho

That shirt can be custom made for less than 10 dollars on shirt design websites like spreadshirt or artscow.

You might be able to do that, but you're not likely to receive a good shirt at less than 10 dollars.

They'll just lower the out-of-game price and increase the inside-of-game micro price... or make it more likely for your orcs to perma-die.
Or similar bs.

You can revive your orcs, unlike in the first game. Have you tried to do research on games you hate?

In the Multiplayer mode, there's perma-death.

Do you do research on games you defend?

Saying MP requires there be two people in game, in the same location, where you directly interact with each other. But hey, enjoy that lotion. The game is still SP.

So the goalposts have moved from permadeath to whether it's accurate to state that it has a multiplayer mode?

On top of announcing that the open-world adventure will feature microtransactions this weekend, it’s now been confirmed that ranked online play will be present. Multiplayer revolves around a new mission type called “Social Conquest,” that has players invading the fortresses of other players.

I wonder where the goalposts will move this time

I know, rite.
It says SP on the store page and not coop or whatever. Another game, One Way Heroics, has an MMO element of using the same map, but one player is still using it for that instance. You do get to pillage dead players, but it still counts as SP.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Aha, you're trying to steer the discussion away from the game in question to some unrelated game. One Way heroics may very well be a single player only game but that doesn't have any bearing on whether Shadow of War has a multiplayer mode :P

It says SP on the store page

So, in your opinion, whats written on the Steam store page is more important than the actual state of the game in question?

Hahah, yeah, no.

Apparently his GMG claim is untrue too, and looking at his profile I can't say I've ever seen such a leecher-ratio in my life yet. Just lovely.

Already own Dungeon Souls, and that was the only one I could be interested in T1. But it's a cool bundle, one buck for Dungeon Souls is a great deal. T2 is also great, but I already own Shadow of Mordor and Oxenfree (but I have to say Oxenfree really isn't my kind of game)

Be careful when making giveaways, Shadow of Mordor might show as not owned and allow people to enter because there are 2 same packages (goty/complete) and one shows as not owned even if you own both packages inside (game+season pass/upgrade)

Is is just me, or are there no giveaways for Death Road to Canada?

I've checked my hidden games, and it's not in there. I can see that it's available to make a giveaway for. Is it just too awesome so that everyone who buys the bundle is keeping that game for themselves? :-)

Unbundled before, high tier... might be very few giveaways for it. Might have some private giveaways or whitelist giveaways, though! I bought it a few months ago on Steam, thinking it wouldn't get bundled quickly... lol.

I've tried it only a little, I guess as far as 4 runs. The combat is very clunky, specially shifting sides of attacks, it's not very precise, and your stamina drains fast, I guess on purpose, as it's not an action game in the end. You also can't know for sure the amount of stats of each character, you must discover them during the run, it's weird, not very precise, but feels fun. Anyway, it's not very action oriented as I expected, it's more of an adventure, but there're parts where you must survive the zombie onslaugh where you must worry about running and attacking when needed to get more room. Ammunition is also very limited, so you must use it wisely. The decision parts is fun, has many cool choices and weird stories, but in the end, you can't predict the outcome, no matter what, so it's pure RNGesus prayer, but feels cool. I reached Canada borders on my 4th run, but get killed very quickly there... haha.

There appear to be very little giveaways of this bundle at all. Atleast of the games I don't own yet (Dungeon Souls, Ultimate Chicken Horse and full tier 3).
Most other Humble Bundles I know a bundle was made by the amount of tier 1's getting lots of giveaways and massive pointgain. None this time.
