It recently came out that the developers behind Dungeon Stalkers, a recently released F2P PvEvP game akin to Dark and Darker, had made a post in their Discord server, seemingly unhappy with the game's mostly negative reviews on launch day, and offered users that if the game's rating got improved to the next level (mixed) by August 17th, then they would award ALL users 300 wish stones.

Wish stones are the game's premium currency, which 300 of them would be priced at around $5.40.

Very clear cut and dry violation of Steam's ToS...

Tell me about it. I recently played Assassin's Creed III and it came with one of those viruses passing for "anti-cheat" (for whatever reason since the servers for multiplayer in the game have been looooong down).
Took me 3 months to manage to get that crapware uninstalled.

Gameguard is one of the worst 3rd party anti-cheats on the market. I was so disappointed when I found out Helldivers 2 used it.
