Do you guys think that the mission DLCs are worth the price for both 2 and 3? Damn things cost $70 and Dragon Age Inquisition (deluxe) is now for preorder for the same price in Origin. Ive been a fan of DAO , kinda dissapointed with 2 but w/e, and am going to preorder the new one because it looks promising, but Ive seen a lot of hype for Mass Effect series. I have all three backlogged because of the pricey DLC, but now I got a hold of some money to get either.

tl;dr Mass Effect DLCs or DAI

ME DLCs already got reviewed and everything while DAI's quality is unknown. I don't think there'll be a sale on DLC regardless of how cheap the base game is (really EA, Bioware?!!)

My advice is getting the DLCs if you love ME like I do or wait 'till some early previews/ reviews on DAI.

DAI will be way more hours of playtime than any of that DLC, even if it's mediocre. I've heard good things about ME Citadel but it's still just DLC. I loved DAO, ME2/3, and I also (with a bit or regret) pre-ordered DA2. I'd say you'd get more for your money with DA, even if it is a gamble on quality.

DA:I looks like it'll be good, but honestly, I'd save the money until it's on sale. And as for the ME DLC, the only ones that are absolutely worth getting are Arrival, Overlord, and Lair of the Shadow Broker for ME2 (I love Kasumi, but her DLC is not essential), and probably Omega and Leviathan for ME3. Citadel was nice, but I only grabbed it because I was one of the lucky people who caught it for 800 points when it was first released, and that turned out to be all it was worth anyway.

$70 for the DLCs only ? wow !
I only played one of thoses DLCs, and I don't think it's worth it (based on my experience on this one)
Especially if you've already played the games, you won't have the small extras (a character for ME2 DLC appearing in your ME3 game for example)

Well, how about you play one or two of the games a little to see if you like them, then decide if you'd enjoy more of them through way of DLC...?

Don't preorder, see what happens with the new game, then decide.
