Hmm, dunno if it counts but there's a lot of "space rock" on early Pink Floyd albums, like A Saucerful of Secrets and The Piper at the Gates of Dawn for example. And if you like Queen, '39 features time dilation. :)

I think one of the greatest tracks that perfectly fit in space/cosmos are tracks by Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene - track was released ages ago :) in 1976.

Roman Sky, from Avenged Sevenfold's latest album, The Stage. Actually, the whole album has a space theme to it. In my opinion, it's the band's best work and one of the best rock albums ever made. And this is my favorite song from it.
