why is Dead Island Riptide so cheap?

It might have to do with regional pricing or that the game isn't great.

ok, i like the first one, i was just WOAH, games like tomb raider etc. are still minimum ^10 and this one already so low, heavy, no need to buy new games...

i think its a supply / demand thing, not many people want it is my guess.

No idea. For what it's worth it's a fun game if you have someone to play it with. Not as bad as many would suggest. Had potential but bugs and stuff crapped the game up. But it's a decent game still.

From what I heard, it manages to be a little worse from the first. I hope that is just exaggeration, because the first game was horrible.

Just sell it to a German since its not available here and many people dont know about the non existing regional restrictions. I mean the game was partly developed in Germany but you can't buy it here...

The game is not as good as the first one, but that has nothing to do with it's price on steam trades. The reason it's cheap is Russian traders, Russian steam prices are 50% lower on average, so get used to cheap games as long as they aren't region locked. :)
