Where Can i get the assassin's creed complete pack with all the games in the franchise along with DLC's.

I missed the chance of getting the complete series from humble bundle. But now since i am planning to start and finish Assassin's Creed, want to purchase it (for cheaper rates if possible.)

It would be helpful if you can lead me to right path. Thank you.

Are all the titles available on steam? or some of them are Uplay specific only.

Also that's not cheaper when it is converted in my Local currency. Thanks for your help, now i have a start. Might end up getting the titles on per title basis. In that way it wont be hard on wallet then. :P

I'm not sure, I believe everything is available on Steam, but you wont get a good discount there. Ubisoft rarely gives good discounts on steam.

I would have preferred steam, But if i get all the titles on uplay then uplay it is.

can opt for 2nd path that is. getting the games that are available on steam and then rest of them on uplay.

I don't think there are any Uplay exclusive ones, but don't quote me on that, I don't use Uplay, and I've stopped caring about AC after Unity, soo I'm not sure...

Heard a lot of bad things about unity.

Will search a bit on internet and compare the titles in Animus Pack with Titles available on steam, if everything is available on steam then steam it is.

I think if you buy them on Steam it will still require you to have uplay.

Yes, all uplay games does. But atleast i will have them all in one place.

True, but you can also add them as a shortcut to steam. I have done the same for U-play game Steep

If you get the games on steam, you'll still have to have a Uplay account to play them. Only the first one is free from Uplay, with the rest you'll get two layers of DRM.

Your Name makes this even funny. :P

I actually feel silly when i say that i can, but i want to finish this game. But looking at al the backlogs and unplayed games in my acc. i just wish this doesn't end up being like one of them.

I finished all (even 100%) until Unity, where my PC stopped working.
Sure it's mostly the same, but I enjoy doing it and you get a good story too.

Dontbesilly has a point, if you aren't an absolute fan, III, Unity, Syndicate, and Liberation you can easily skip.
The Ezio trilogy is alright, but nothing mindblowing.
4 is a really good game.

They're not all bad... but seriously, the AC series has issues...

In AC: Revelations I could not get any money. Known issue, relatively common one, and ubisoft did not feel like fixing it. So I had to play through the game with the starting gear.

AC3:
Once again I could not get any money. The system bugged out.
This thing kept following me around
This wall that you have to stand near in one of the main story missions was not solid
And this is the DLC.... I fell through the ground repeatedly at the same spot, could not beat it

AC4:
It's raining men! (two big clumps of men just fell from the sky, one consisting of slaves, the other of soldiers)
Motorboat?
Fittingly enough, the game bugged out when the QA testers were shown on screen during the ending credits...

AC: Rogue
Well, quest triggers are bugged..
The AI can't handle ladders
The water sometimes did not look quite right
People can fly!
(AC:Rogue was actually the least buggy game in the series since 2...)

AC:Unity
This is what it looks like when you try to run and you're stuck..
You can get stuck at odd places, like where there's seemingly no level geometry to get stuck in
I also got stuck here
And here
You can hang from the air!
Enemies sometimes gets stuck mid animation... this will force you to re-load in case you have to kill those enemies, as you can't interact with them anymore

Some selected bugshots from the series. It's very buggy. Even if you like those types of games, do keep in mind that you also have to put up with some serious bugs. Luckily I did not have to pay for Rogue or Unity, they were gifted to me by someone who enjoyed my bugshots :P

How is the storyline. I can ignore the bugs if they don't hamper with the game play. Most imp is storyline though

The bugs do hamper gameplay. In particular in AC: Revelations, AC3 & AC: Unity.

As for the story, it's really "meh". It's there, it's not the worst thing in the world, but it's still very unimpressive. I feel that AC3 actually has among the stronger stories of the lot, but that's also the game I could not complete because I kept falling through the ground at one specific point and was unable to get past it.

The good thing about the AC games has to be the way the games look & feel when you're moving through cities. Because they are really pretty.

The only game that I've ever played from the series was 3 and enjoyed it very much. Are the older titles so much better that they make 3 look that bad? Cause on its own, I thought 3 was pretty good (got 100% sync on it).

Yes.
But 4 is without a doubt the best one.

AC3 is generally rather disliked because the main character Connor Kenway aka Ratonhnhaké:ton is not particularly likeable and sometimes acts like a emo brat (I've heard quite a few people say they would have preferred to keep playing as Haytham Kenway.) but it definitely had it's moments like taking care of the homestead or growing up as Ratonhnhaké:ton.

Another thing AC3 was completely missing compared to earlier games was climbing around on impressing huge buildings and cathedrals (which for me is a main pilar of the franchise) since America simply didn't have those at that point.

It's from my favourite Anime Cowboy Bebop. It's an old one but I would call it a classic :)
The dogs name is Ein most likely in reference to Albert Einstein.

I remember now, it was the last anime I watched. Still haven't finished it though so I'm gonna have to get back to it sometime soon.

I actually thought the main characters were the main redeeming factor of 3. They were both highly flawed, and the conflict suddenly seemed a lot less black & white, where previously you only got to see one side of the conflict, and the Templars seemed to just be bad guys.

This is an interesting view and not the first time I've come across it but even in the earlier games I never conceived the Templars as purely evil since I seem to remember the games always made point of showing that they are convinced of what they are doing is right and so their motives are genuine. And basically they seem to be working towards the same goal as the Assassins, they just use different means doing it. So I've always seen Templars and Assassins pretty much as two sides of the same coin and Unity (the most recent one I played) even added to that impression, you could even say old friends playing Cat and mouse.

I got the impression that the lower-ranking templars believed in what they were doing, while the higher-ranking ones were mustache twirling villains, while the higher ranking Assassins had good intentions.

while the higher ranking Assassins had good intentions.

Just to fall prey to the apple as soon as they get hold of it.

But it's hard to tell because as far as I remember in AC2 Ezio works outside of the Brotherhood (I even remember I missed that he no longer used a white feather to take the blood of his victim like Altair did until I realized there is nobody he reports to.) and Brotherhood and Revelations sort of blend together because it's been so long ago.

Syndicate is awesome, by the way. And the 1st is really good, after Syndicate of course.

The first was revolutionary when it came out. A lot of people play up the game's faults, but it's by far my favorite.

What I'm really missing in the later games is that the first one was the only one where you had complete freedom how much you want to find out about your upcoming job and how you want to utilize that information.

Exactly. And the assassinations themselves were almost sandboxy. You could approach them however you wanted.

My buddies rather disliked the generic build up to every assassination since you always had to gather information first but I quite liked to find out everything and see what I can make of it. Now that I think of it in a way they brought that back in Unity with the Assassination and Distraction opportunies.
