give more games away and enter more giveaways :) The more you give away, the more private groups open up to you. All the winnings are inside of private groups.

Enter for games with less entries, but most importantly, BE PATIENT. I won my first game after about 1000 entries.

There are no cheats to winning giveaways. What you can do is actually contribute games to the site, which in turn allows you to join contributor giveaways which allows you a better chance to win. If you're an active member of the community, you're friendly, and you contribute, then maybe you'll even be able to join some more exclusive private groups and take part in giveaways from there.

Entry to nearly end games with low number of entries. This is only way how to improve your chance. Of course if you are only entry to for example Tomb Raider where the value is 50 points and you are able to get about 600 point per day (depend if some bundles or steam games are released, in these days you got more points) and here is another 6000 users in it you have really low chance. And of course if you make some giveaway you have access to bigger pool because someone use restriction for user with even only 0.01 USD.

The chance of you winning is probably 1 divided by the amount of entries in that giveaway, so... the low winning chance can only be compensated by the amount of tries. If there's 1000 entries in an average giveaway, then you'll probably win each 1000 giveaways yoou enter in average. And each reroll made by giveaway creator counts as a retry. Contributor giveaways filter the participants, so you have a higher chance of winning in them. You can also create bot steam accounts to increase your chances, as with x bots your chance is x divided by the amount of other entries+x, although I don't think people will like that since it lowers their chances of winning, and it's probably against the rules (though, you aren't a bot farmer until you're caught).
So where's the suggestion forum? I'm going to ask for a feature that can improve one's chance of winning, give users the illusion of having a better winning chance and attract more attention to sg.

Two wins with an EW of 0.86. You are much luckier than the average person. Entering more giveaways would help you win more. Also, you might try following DeltaBlade's Guide.

When you open the start page of steamgifts type ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A into the search field and hit enter. You should now see 30 giveaways that you have a 100% chance of winning if you enter within the next minute. GL

2 wins in 631 entries is actually really good... 25% of your entire Steam library are games you've won on this site. o_O

I didn't get a single win until over 700 entries.

It's also a bit easier to win giveaways if you contribute back to the community, that way you can join contributor giveaways that will have less entries.

Last but not least, you can look into getting an invite to a private group, most of them require you to contribute to the community first and then once you're invited they require you to contribute to the group by making group only giveaways.

The first thing I would suggest is that you increase your giveaways joined and also comments to entries ratio. Groups don't want people who don't participate in the site or people who don't talk on the site/in the group.

Also, you should spend more time in the forum, I've won some really great games from doing forum puzzles! (Most notable wins from puzzles I have = Borderlands 2 and Batman: Arkham City GOTY in less than 24 hours!

(PS. Please don't ask me to invite you to any of the private groups I'm in, I don't run any of them so it's not my place to invite people to them. Besides, they all require you to have at least $30.01 contributor value anyway)

I'm not really complaining about winning I just really wanna win a real game. I won crazy machines and death rally, but honestly winning like the two games I see on here a lot mafia 2 and civ 5 would be cool.
