PS Now Page
In short PS Now is a streaming Service (Note: Not Available All Countries) but in console you can download PS4 & PS2 Games Not PS3. On PC you can only stream games from their server, can't download.
Well I wanted to share this since this is a great opportunity for all those that don't have PS4 want to play Spiderman.
The good part is that u can play it Free with the 7 days Trial.
(Note:Don't forget to Cancel Auto Renewal or you will be Charged after the 7 days Trial Ends).

No PS4™? No problem – all you need is a PlayStation™Network account and a DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller to start playing.

Consider "streaming" in this context to be the same usage Netflix has for "streaming', rather than the usage you'd associate with Steam Link. Here's the link to the PS Now FAQ:
https://blog.us.playstation.com/2019/10/01/playstation-now-everything-you-need-to-know/

In short, you don't need a console, but you do need reliable and fast internet.
Then again, their recommended minimum is only 5Mbps, so.. maybe not?

I imagine the Streaming wouldn't be available [yet] in most regions to begin with, considering how Streaming services operate (that is to say, the streaming provider needs a hub with a relatively short distance from the client, or latency can cause issues).

I wasn't able to find an official listing, but wikipedia lists the following:

PlayStation Now is available in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

I know I've asked the information of (Western) Europeans before, but at the moment I can't recall any of the minimum internet speeds that were indicated to be normal for the various regions. Over here in the States, though, 10mbps/1mbps seems to be considered as being the absolute minimum for download/upload for cable internet.

Moreover, I believe even satellite internet has reached the same minimum, now. Even 4G has a 5mbps/2mbps minimum, according to a quick Google search. So in theory, unless you've got some wonky (and presumably very rural) setup, you're likely to be able to easily clear a 5mbps connection speed minimum here in the States.

Cross-checking via Google, it seems that 25-30mbps is now a more typical minimum download speed for cable connections in more urban areas [as in, the majority of providers within urban regions set that as their minimum, not that fringe operators offering lower connection speeds can't still exist within those regions]. It's also generally just a single step up on those providers to get to 75 or 80mbps, or even 120 or 150mbps, depending on the provider.

At least early on, it seems likely that Sony is going to orient their streaming service specifically to the NA, European, South Korean*, and Japanese* markets. That said, Netflix is now available everywhere but China- so with that in mind, PS Now'll probably spread out similarly if the service gets enough traction or if enough time goes by.

* What with South Korea and Japan both having better internet speed averages than the US, as well as being major gaming countries.

So yeah- even if you can currently stream it from your region, odds are it won't be especially functional. I've already seen a fair number of critcisims over corrupted cloud saves from the google results on US users, so.. that doesn't bode well for regions with high latency or low internet speed. :X

Will probably come properly to pc at some point. I expect Sony to start bringing their titles to pc little by little, starting with the B exclusives like this and then slowly getting into main franchises like Uncharted (that is over until a reboot comes along). I'd bet their first major exclusive franchise release on pc will be Uncharted The Nathan Drake Collection. Then perhaps God of War 1 and 2 Remaster that came out last gen and, if we're lucky, it will be a trilogy bundle with God of War 3 Remaster that came out this gen put in there for good value. Not too long ago these ideas would sound crazy, but with Microsoft's success with their new cross-play policies, Horizon Zero Dawn coming to pc and Sony themselves saying they're open to the idea of bringing more exclusives to pc, it's likely just a matter of time.

We're more likely to see PS4 exclusives and some PS3 ones come to PC, not the older PS1 and 2 titles.
Horizon Zero Dawn and Ni No Kuni are good examples of recent titles.

I meant titles developed/published by sony (I don't think Ni No Kuni is either, is it?). Besides, yeah I agree with you. As I said, God of War 1 and 2 both received remasters for ps3, while God of War 3 received a remaster for ps4. The remake of Shadow of the Colossus also comes to mind. That may come to pc eventually, but the original ps2 version, yeah definitely not.

GoW was already on PS Now last year.
Was pumped to finally play it before I realized its not available where I am.
I guess I will just wait for emulation to catch up before playing that game.

I dont understand why some people are so against OLD playstation exclusives coming to PC in some form? It doesnt diminish from the console if these games eventually come out on another platform year(s) later.

so no way to play without an official PS controller?

Also curious, as I only have XBox controller for my PC...
I guess it needs to be DS4 as it has that little trackpad thingy which might be part of a game's control scheme?

Rewasd should would work but you would have to buy it after 2 weeks.

xinput controllers do work but they aren't guaranteed to be 100% compatible with all games since some games utilize special bits of ds4 like movement controls.

Debit cards are very common, what do you mean dude? It's nearly impossible to get a card without Visa or Mastercard support, both of which are supported by almost any online service.

There are some debit cards that dont have security numbers and can't be used to buy stuff online
Also there are other cards that aren't Visa or MasterCard, they may be the most used in your country but that doesn't mean they are the only ones
