I agree that if they did this with a singleplayer game, that would feel a little FOMO-ish... but unless you're playing Hunt: Showdown already, why do you care? There's a ton of skins, events, and content you've already missed out on - because that's how online multiplayer games work these days. Content comes and content goes as time moves on.

For what i see, you can get up to 4 “Anniversary Supply Crates” each day, one every 2hs.
Also i it seems if you miss the legendary drop for one day, you can still claim in in the next day, im guessing that the progress will run in "paralel" for each legendary drop, while for the suplly crates if you dont get the 4 crates for a day you can't get any of those the next day, you still can get the 4 new crates for that day.
Btw i barely play it (only few min on the tutorial), i read that is not particulary friendly for new players (like me), still it looks cool and i really wish to give it a chance (some day).

"During the Twitch Drop Campaign, you can earn a variety of different legendary items, including a brand-new Legendary Hunter— “Kill Buyer.”
You can earn the rewards by watching Hunt: Showdown Streams between 23rd February and 2nd March 2023. One item in this Drops Campaign will be a “Night of the Hunter” Partner exclusive drop, meaning you must watch a member of our partner program to earn this reward. All other rewards can be earned by watching ANY Hunt: Showdown streamer.
For the 5th Anniversary, we will also have another smaller campaign running alongside the main one. In this campaign, players can earn “Anniversary Supply Crates” containing instances of non-Legendary in-game weapons, tools/consumables, and some Hunt Dollars to help keep your arsenals replenished during the anniversary drops week."
