Steam overlay browser, having a local page of links as the homepage?

I have a HTM page I made with some links I tend to use often within Steam, and I want to see it as my default Home page for the Overlay browser. Anyone know how I would go about this? Can't seem to figure out how to have it load HTM files on my PC.

You could run a http server and then load the page from there.

Try setting the overlay homepage as this:
file:///C:/Path/to/the/file.html
No idea if it will work.

Alternatively, paste the HTML here, publish the page and set that as the home.

If you have a Google Account, you could use iGoogle which allows links and many widgets.

DackXYZ's suggestion would work quite well, but I'd miss my search bar.
