If you're interested in playing Wildstar post-F2P I'd advise you take a moment to peruse the restrictions on Free-to-Play versus "Signature" accounts, which may be of aid in determining whether or not this one dollar 30-day subscription is worthwhile.

Free players have a limited amount of sell slots in auction house, and limited amount of buy bids. They can't invite to or create a guild. They can't invite to or create a warparty (whatever that is). They can only join 1 circle (whatever that is) instead of 5.
Just those limitations I mentioned are already enough to ruin your experience. But there are more of them, albeit less annoying.
Having only 2 character slots also sucks.
I don't see this game being enjoyable for f2p players.

But you need to have an active subscription at the time it goes F2P, no use if you only activate it now. I'm not sure if there is a time limit fo activation however.

I think you might be right, this thing confused me:
"All existing accounts that do not have an active recurring payment method, C.R.E.D.D. redemption, or GTC (Game Time Card) redemption when the transition occurs will be considered inactive. These accounts will automatically convert to Free service, which will persist until the account holder chooses to sign-up for Signature service."
I think it refers to paying for the game after it goes F2P. Yeah, the bundle isn't a bad deal, just for Wildstar.

I know what you mean, I'd love that too! But it also makes me feel a bit spoiled to think that I'd be wishing to pay publishers/developers a few cents for great products like AOE II that bring so much enjoyment and are certainly worth more. Don't get me wrong, I'd buy it at that price with no second thoughts!
