Indeed I will, but you don't even know my age yet. I cannot have a job at my current age, if I don't want to go out delivering commercial that noone wants. People basically looked at me and stared like crazy, I had around 2$/hour and I had to work 5-10 hours per week. It's slavery. I did that for 2 years until I got tired of that bullshit.

dark economy that's why metal price has been lowered, also you need TF2 premium in order to trade them to you.

Yeah, I know, and I think people who do that are idiots.
You would get so much more money by just getting a real job.

1: You can idle while you are working.

Not trying to boast here, but you don't sound like you're under 15, and I paid for all 300+ games in my Steam library myself.
If you really cared about getting a job, you would get one. There's plenty of places to find work, maybe just not the most obvious ones. Put your talents to use. =)

Lol, I'm 16 at the moment being. My "mental age" or whatever isn't the same as how the law treats me. I do have a job for the summer, I'm going to guide in the local church for tourists. It's very rare to get a job like I did, most youngsters search for summer jobs but fail, if they don't have contacts. I never considered myself to have contacts, but apparently being active in the church pays off. I am very happy that I can be active here regardless if I get paid now or not. Having experience in the church will be valuable when I search for my future dream job of becoming a priest. However this job is only around 2 weekends (5 days in total, around 6 hours per day if I remember correctly) and it's at the end of the summer, I don't expect to get paid a lot from this. I've had a obession on "collecting" games, or I would rather call it having forced-thoughts about buying more and more, and getting a boost from trading games into other games, when I ran out I wanted to get more, and I would sometimes load my steam account with over 50€ per month, which is insane. I think I spent around 120€ on the last winter sale, which was basically lots of money I had saved up, I generally try to save up money for no real reason, in case I ever need it. I doubt my "old" me wanted myself to go off spending that much money on games I barely wanted. Idling in TF2 makes me able to save up digital currency for games I actually want, I can feel that I never have to spend more money on games on steam, which I probably will anyway, but it will lower it drastically. Aswell as I can actually get an unusual hat in TF2, for free (or not really free but... Idling money). I might be brick crazy doing all this but it's not so odd for people to have idling accounts, to have as many as I aim to have is a bit more odd though, but having the ability to earn money like this is something I cannot afford to miss out.

This little thing pays without really doing anything, that is why it's called idling. Stop letting everyone know that you managed to get a job.

I too despise these people... This will make Valve eventually change the drop system again.
Comment has been collapsed.
They earn money on people idling. And they will probably have to change their entire system if they don't want the economy to die out in a few years time anyway. The metal supply is infinite, and people use metal as a currency. Metal is a dying currency, and people are greedy bastards (Key prices rising, bla bla)
Comment has been collapsed.
Huh, you just gave the reason for the rising key price yourself.
Metal is infinite, because you can get it by idling and crafting the weps you find.
To get keys you have to invest real money.
The fact that a lot of people are idling and thus flooding the market with metal is part of the "problem" why the key price went up.
Simple economics ;)
And by creating several idle accounts, you'll soon be part of the problem, too =Þ

The price could have been the same if everyone agreed on it. The problem is/was that regardless if people raise the price they sell keys on, people still buy/bought it. And then sellers kept raising the prices, and people still bought it, and it kept going. Sometime it will go to an end where people won't buy at whatever price the seller raises to, and then we'll have it pretty stable for a while, until it happens again. I do understand and agree however.

You can do that and many other beauties with Steam Gifts+!

Very happy to be on someones blacklist, if you blacklist me you should probably blacklist everyone else idling in TF2, I saw a thread yesterday about a support member who had 60+ accounts (I think it was thejadefalcon, not sure). I see nothing wrong with having idling accounts, lots of people have it.

You can register several Steam accounts with the same email adress
Another solution: Create a single GMail address, that's worth infinite addesses since you can add a '+' to the account name (i.e register qwert@gmail.com and when you're asked for an address, enter for example qwert+steam1@gmail.com). The emails will all be delivered to the same account
Comment has been collapsed.
Yep, do it all the time. Not for steam but for companies that give out freebies
Comment has been collapsed.
good idea in theory but i've tried places and they don't accept '+' in an email.
better to use (spamgourmet)[http://spamgourmet.com/]:
Once you register you pretty much never have to visit SpamGourmet again.
P.S. If you are going to create a bunch of gmail accounts I hope you're a) using undesirable SN like UserBobby00001 and b) forwarding them or linking them thru the account switcher. much easier than logging out and in all the time
Comment has been collapsed.
Yeah, because those places are stupid. (RFC2822)[http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2822] states that a '+' is an allowed symbol
Comment has been collapsed.
It's allowed. I've seen a forum post on the steam forums where someone got hacked off all his 100+ accounts, a valve employee replied and said he could fix some of them but he would need some more information for the other accounts, or whatever it was. It's completely allowed, and valve actually earn money on people making idling accounts.

the typical answer from people, that don't have anything more of value to say. ^^
i know, i know, now you will blacklist me. ;)

just because i don't give a long answer, doesn't mean I haven't an opinion about the subject. just seems ridiculous to argue about that. For example i understand valve for wanting to milk the cow some more (TF2) since they earn money with idlers and traders.
but those people ruining the fun for normal people. why play for items if everyone else is idling their asses off? it just kills the fun for me, since you have to compete with those people if you ever wanted to trade something.
it's the same as the chinese gold farmers in MMORPGs. just people who ruin a (fun) economy and turning it into a pay2win festival.
Comment has been collapsed.
It doesn't ruin the fun in TF2, since no items make it more fun in the game, it's just cosmetics and e-penises. Jesus. I play on my regular account normally, and I get items, what do I do with them? I just make it into metal, so I can get some other items I actually want, because I enjoy seeing cool pixles on my screen, and I have paid to get some of it, not huge amounts, but some.
Comment has been collapsed.
it does ruin it. even if it is just cosmetics etc.
you still have to compete with "idler prices" in the economy.
thus making it a lot harder for "honest" people to achieve something without having to invest huge amount of time to compensate for not idling.
PS: I don't understand what jesus has to do with tf2 item idling? :P
Comment has been collapsed.
You don't get it. For getting these "huge" items you would have to play for ages. A rough estimation of how much you get per week (per account) is around 10 drops, if all of these are weapons that means you get 5 scrap. 5 scrap per week... That's 260 SCRAP per year, which is around 85 refined, which is around 16 keys at most. 16 keys per YEAR is a extremely low number, you might get worst cancer tier unusual for that money, it won't get you anywhere. People who seriously care about cosmetics, invest money into the game, they don't play for items to then get more stuff, because that's literally insane.
Comment has been collapsed.
well you don't get my point either.
it's about fairness! I want to compete against people who use the "same odds" as I do in a game market. But people who use bots and idling gain an unfair advantage over normal playing people.
I could also hire a chinese guy who does my job for 1$ a day while I get paid full while idling at home, but it wouldn't be fair for every other person who goes to work for himself.
you're just seeing the whole thing only as too tedious and you're greedy for fast rewards while I just want to play with others who play the game fair and square.

It would certainly be handy to just click a button and have 50 accounts ready, I'm going to idle TF2, and for that I need lots of steam accounts, and emails.
I found some videos on youtube, but I don't really know how "secure" they are. Anyone tried any of these?
I doubt it's illegal to use these, I could create all these manually (already did like 20 manually) but that'll take forever.
