few times my points was over 300. Something around 350.

That can only happen if a giveaway you entered is deleted, and those points won't last long. They will revert to 300 quickly if you don't use them.

Really? I always thought it was more that generation stops at 300. Points don't cap. Well, the last generation will only top out at 300, so at 299 + 2 points max even for a 50$ game.
