G2A is having their weekly sale at https://www.g2a.com/weeklysale

And currently, South Park is on 80% off. My friend told me some keys were revoked when buying from their site. Any truths to this? Is it still reliable?

Also, this was found in South Park game, right below it.

Warning! This product is region locked and CAN'T BE activated and played in: Germany, Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

I know that Philippines isn't included in there, but any chance I can still play it? Probably Philippines is not that a big of country for it not even worth a mention?

**EDIT: Okay, I messaged G2A through Facebook. And I have this reply: "Hello, of course - your contry isn't listed so you should be able to play the game without any problems "

****ANOTHER EDIT: I decided to pass up, guys. I tried looking beyond the 80% off that it offers. And I found out that if you just add 1$ more in its price, I'll be buying the same price as Steam (66% off) offers. And I tried calculating, what if Steam had the 80% off sale, and it turns out I'll only be paying more likely 3$. That's how cheap the games are in our country, so I'll have to pass up. I'm not hoping for an instant bigger sale for this game, my points is 80% from G2A and 66% from Steam is almost the same for me. If I passed up during the 66% off on sale, I don't see any reasons why I shouldn't pass up on G2A.

I keep getting my games from G2A and so far not a single problem. As long as you verify if the key is ROW you shouldn't have any problems

G2A is an unofficial reseller, this means that they sell steam keys from a unknown source. If that source is illegal you can get your key revoked. There's no way to know where the keys come from.

G2A doesn't buy them directly from the DEV or the publishers. For example they can buy russian boxed games in bulk then selling the photo of the cd-key for more, They can use a stolen C.C. to buy lots of cd-key from other sites,
If i remember corretly "they" even bought stolen sniper elite 3 keys.
While the key is generated by the DEV/publisher it's not sold directly to G2A, as such, who and how G2A gets their merchandise is always an unknown. this doesn't mean that you can't buy a working game from them, it just means that if you get your key revoked G2A doesn't have the capability to generate another.
In short what i mean is that G2A is a grey market and the consequences of that is that you aren't protected as much as an oficcial reseller like nuuvem and GMG .

Humble Bundle e.g. which doesn't allow reselling. They buy cheap and earn lots of profit none of which ends up with the devs. Case in point Devolver Digital

That is absolutely true, G2A had problems with stolen keys, hacked keys and many other, there is also a problem with the customer service from what i've heard. They are not reliable and they have never been reliable to begin with, but the ultimate choice is yours.

Don't take this as the fact, but from the looks of those regions it might be region locked because of violence and blood and stuff like that, but i'm not sure if that is the case or do the Philippines have similar region locks.

I have never bought from G2A myself (and i most likely never will), but i have heard too many stories from both the people that have and game developers themselves that i would not recommend it.

In the past I have tried to purchase from their site and paying with PayPal. I always ended up getting my purchase canceled by their system and a blank booking on my credit card that I had to order to delete in my bank. their support was very much useless about the case.

In paypal everything was ok and when I returned to seller an error occured saying there was problem with payment.

Well fuck me I guess, never bought on there, never really wanted to, but it's 80% off, trading is dead and I don't think it'll get any cheaper soon. Also, I have about 9€ on my G2A account (sold a few keys) and at least I can use them for something...

So yeah everything fine it seems, spent 8€, activated the key.
