Wasn't saying I know they did, but quite often when games are removed from Steam by bigger publishers, then put back on, they have to cut out something to make it happen.
Look at GTA 4 recently for an example.

It is not particularly praxis to have to gut something just to put it back on the shelf. That would be particularly done if there were issues with the content of the original game(s). The case with games like Ducktales in particular recently being delisted was because of licensing issues. That has nothing to do with the game content at all.

It is very unlikely to ever happen. Wayforward is busy doing their own thing and Capcom probably paid more than it would like for just to renew the rights alone. It sucks but at least there is a work around /shrug.

I beat it not too long ago and it never crashed for me. I looked around a little bit in the reviews and discussion board and haven't seen anything recent about it freezing.

Same, I beat it a number of times all the way up to the hardest difficulty and 100%'d it without any crashes.

I believe it is gpu dependent with Nvidia cards being the issue. I had the crash issue when playing it myself and had to skip the cinematic to avoid it :/.

That's really strange. I have a 1060 and I completed the game of May of last year and it never froze for me.

I beat it yesterday - no crashes, no freezes. The final boss has been beaten several times with no issues. And my GPU is NVIDIA.
