Star Wars: The Old Republic. Bought two copies of the box for me and my significant other. When they annonced going free-to-play I wasn't too worried, after all when LotRO did it they gave their original buyers ingame currency enough to equal buying the box. I expected the same from EA/Bioware. Technically they did offer the same deal (currency equal to the box) except they wanted you to give them some more money before they handed it over. Since they I have become very wary of buying mmo boxes. "What if this one also goes free-to-play" soon?" Well this comment became a bit longer than I had intended...

Serious sam: The random encounter, the game doesnt even work, all its good for is crashes.

Risen 2: Dark Waters
I was a big fan of the Gothic (I and II) and Risen series, so I bought it at the releasedate. I bought the DVD because i got low I-net. Well, I installed it and had to download the full game.... (at least it felt like downloading the whole game).
And the game itself wasn´t comparable to the others they made

i regret buying tropico 1, 2, 3, 4 before they wer ein bundles. wasted 25 bucks v__v loved the games with a passion though. but still.. i could have saved 20 bucks easy

Mine would be Assassin's Creed 2...but not because of the game itself, because of uplay.

There was no info on steam when I bought AC2 & AC3 at a sale that you will be re-directed to force uplay up your a$$.
Well...that bundled together with an overloaded uplay site and when I automatically registered through the form and installation process it didn't work the first time ...and second time...and third...
After a while it said the email was already registered and again after a long wait I ould use the account and registered the key on it and only after that I noticed the accountname of my uplay account...it wasn't the name I had chosen, it was something like "user2423746sdzgwed" and there was no way to change the username of my username and i already had put in my AC2 key to that account.

rage de-installed uplay and never touched AC2 or AC3 again.
