What was the era you first started gaming in?

D&D: Treasure of Tarmin a.k.a. "Minotaur" was probably #1 for me (as it was with many people), but it was definitely something that took a good amount of time to play. Tower of Doom was another favorite as well. For shorter gaming sessions I have fond memories of stuff like Burgertime, Lock n Chase, Pitfall, and Tron: Deadly Discs. My favorite arcade-style game was probably Thunder Castle.

I Played Burgertime, Lock n' Chase and Tron: Deadly Discs all the time ^_^
Armor Battle, Astrosmash, Space Armada, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Stampede and Snafu were favorites as well. I remember the Bi-plane game in Triple Action.
I recently got an Intellivoice, amazing to hear games with actual voices! --> Mattel Electronics Presents: B-17 Bomber

My father's C64, was five years old back then. Felt amazingly elitist being able to play computer games while my friends couldn't.
Speaking of old games, I'm currently replaying System Shock 1 which was made more enjoyable control-wise, and I love it. Left a huge mark on my little gamer-self.

My first one was the N64, I was 4 when I first started and my dad obviously helped me (first game being Super Mario 64). I then played my Gameboy and a SNES at my babysitters a couple years after, without all the hand holding.

48k Sinclair Spectrum. I think the first game I played on it was 'Horace Goes Skiing'.

Never had any console so PC I guess, sometimes in the 90s. It was a second-hand one so it was a little obsolete but hell, whatever. It was like 20mhz 386 with 4megs of RAM and a 100mB HDD. Mostly running DOS but had Windows 3.1 too 8-)
Remember the day we brought it in I god violently sick and remember my first time playing on it sorta like a fever dream.
